With over 25 years of experience, I share a graceful Yoga Synergy based vinyasa flow, as well incorporating restorative yin yoga poses and meditative yoga nidra into my classes.
Wednesday evening classes start at 7.15pm and run for 90 minutes. Saturday morning classes start at 9am and run for 75 minutes (starting 3rd July).
Ideal times for those with busy work and home lives providing a mid-week and weekend reset - an opportunity to be more mindfully present, calm and grounded.
Yoga Synergy was developed by Sydney-based physiotherapist Simon Borg-Olivier and is specifically intended for Western bodies and lifestyles. It is adapted from the three main Eastern styles - Iyengar, Ashtanga and Hot Yoga.
Physically, this style of yoga releases modern day stress, particularly back and neck nervous, muscular and skeletal tension. It builds strength, core stability, balance and coordination, as well as flexibility. The style is soft and fluid allowing you to adapt to suit your body’s current fitness and flexibility.
The classes are fun and attentive, yet meditative and calming - promoting positive mental health and well-being through activation of the contentment hormonal pathways.
I welcome both beginners & seasoned yogis. This style is suitable for all ages, levels of experience, and flexibility. Please let me know of any injuries or health concerns prior to the class beginning.
