This year marks 50 years of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1975. That law is outdated and isn’t protecting Aotearoa. Overdoses are rising (171 deaths in 2021, up 54% since 2017), organised crime profits from m**h are huge (NZ Police estimates $500m+), and the harms fall disproportionately on Māori and Pasifika communities.

Our petition calls for an independent, expert-led review of our drug laws, centred on evidence, health and equity, with no predetermined outcomes. We want a fair, non-partisan look at how to reduce harm and rebuild community wellbeing.

We’re reaching out to leaders across the spectrum: politicians from every party, public figures, influencers and well-known Kiwis, will you publicly endorse this petition and help build cross-party momentum? Your public support could inspire thousands to sign.

Good morning to you all from a sunny brisk Tasman ❤️

Perspective is a great thing / we see things from how WE are rather than anything else.

My new pain and h**p root balm station is now located in my bedroom upstairs 😆

Many of you will understand the challenges we face daily to provide your medicine. Decarbing flower in an air fryer has to be done at night or Sunday’s as tradies are here daily in this process of repairs from floods.

The kitchen is an empty space so brownies are made in our gas oven in the caravan onsite. Nothing is easy. Yet our commitment to you all shines through each day we get your orders out 😌

We continue to post online website orders each Monday and Wednesday,

Butters need to be ordered via email only as we have limited capacity to produce the amount we have in the past.

Our home is now dry following 5.5 weeks of dehumidifiers and blowers inside!

Repairs can begin - my lawyer is in charge of dealing with Tower Insurance. Sadly their processes are slow, painful and delayed.

Good morning from a sunny Tasman ☀️

Just an update from us here at BYROSE, we are still in drying out house/workshop/office phase. 6 weeks of blowing fans and dehumidifiers is a challenge to say the least. Thinking inside that noise is a skill 😀😆

Orders go again today and again on Wednesday. We appreciate your support and value each order.

Some delays expected for butters and brownie as they are made off site due to having no kitchen here.

I have learnt a lot over this last weekend about the insurance claim processes! Having to seek legal advice on my policy and house value is needed to ensure this process is fair and reasonable.

I am fortunate to have had a wonderful person contact me from her experience of extreme flooding in North Island and her timing has been perfect. It reminds me that my gut instincts are screaming at me to find out my legal rights as both insurance and council are of little support 😳

In times like this you realise we are not alone, many kiwis care and help those like us in need. Heart warming stuff!

We stayed dry lastnight in Tasman which was a great feeling ❤️☀️
The sun is appearing and orders go again today to those of you waiting for deliveries.

Good morning all ☀️🏡
After a frosty start it is refreshing to wake to no flood, silt and mess.

Thank you to everyone who has privately donated to my recovery. You are all the best comfort to us ❤️🤗🌈 although the week has been tough your kindness and generosity means we can find strength to keep going.

Twins have a caravan onsite. The grounds look better and rubbish finally removed. Can Plan here in Tasman are legends as are the locals who pitch in for others.

I am grateful to live here despite the hardship and shock of the last 3 weeks.

My fire is roaring and I have a day ahead or organising before builders arrive on Monday.

Insurance is a painful, difficult task and I’ve decided rather than fight them to accept their $1 in $3 return spent so far! It’s a lesson in where to put my energy 😳

Today we are drying out our home with a caravan arriving tomorrow. Part power and electrician arriving later, we have clean running water and a busy BYROSE post day for orders!

I’ll go for a walk today with Buddy for the first time since both floods - keeping a sane routine during the repairs is impirtant for sanity.

Orders will go Monday ONLY next week as the week is in transition getting out of our home.

Stock will be available from Sunday.

Hello everyone, many of you will already know I was reflooded last Friday night two weeks after the last flood.

Many have asked if they can donate to my recovery and although that is difficult for me to do, I will be very grateful to anyone wishing to do so ❤️

I have ppty insurance but no contents so have lost almost everything. We managed to save some items but upstairs only holds so much.

Good morning everyone ❤️
We are well into recovery mode now 8 days following our flood experience!
Cars towed away, 4 full skips of lost ‘stuff’ from office, workshop, downstairs in the house and alot of storage from my sheds!

Stuff is simply stuff! We are in positive spirits including Karl the cat and Bud our dear wee dog! Our girl cat Fran was lost in floods.

Tomorrow we have limited stock for sale on our private website: oils, balms and tea. No brownie or butter will be available until I restore my kitchen.

With this 1 order day please be patient with us until we resume full time. We are yet to confirm our date at this stage.

‼️ UPDATE: EXTREME FLOODING IN TASMAN, NELSON, & MARLBOROUGH REGIONS ‼️

Just a quick update to notify you all that the water has receded and we are now dealing with the aftermath of water all over our property and inside our family home.

You might have seen today that I had a brief 1 News feature 😂 Our family recorded the feature for us all as we are without electricity.

Tomorrow we will assess the situation and begin the process of drying everything out. We have been fortunate that family were able to drop off supplies this afternoon to get us through until tomorrow. We have hilariously been making curry and potatoes for dinner over the fire.

It is important for us all to remain positive and make light of the situation despite the damage and extreme weather. We are just grateful that we are all safe. We continue to keep everyone impacted in our thoughts.
