✨ Happy International Women’s Day ✨

Today I’m neck-deep in packing boxes, wrapping up pieces of a house that has held so many memories as we prepare to step into a new chapter. It’s a big, emotional, exciting transition.

But even amongst the chaos, it feels important to pause and acknowledge this day.

Because if there’s one thing I’m deeply passionate about, it’s women supporting women.

Over the years I’ve witnessed the power of women coming together in circles, retreats, therapy rooms, yoga spaces, cafés, community halls, and quiet conversations over cups of tea.

When women gather with honesty, vulnerability, and kindness, something powerful happens.

We remember:
🌿 we’re not alone
🌿 our stories matter
🌿 community is medicine

So today I’m celebrating the incredible women in my life — friends, colleagues, clients, mothers, daughters, sisters, leaders, and quiet change-makers doing beautiful work in the world.

Thank you for the courage you bring, the compassion you offer, and the way you continue to show up for yourselves and each other.

Community is vital.
Connection is powerful.
And together, we rise.

With gratitude today and every day 💛

There is something incredibly humbling about being on the receiving end.

This year I’m undertaking mentorship with Sarah Ball, and this little CARE package arrived… and I was genuinely moved.

It’s not about what was inside (although every detail was thoughtful). It’s what it represents. Integrity. Intention. Heart.

The way Sarah teaches, guides and holds space comes from lived experience and deep values. You can feel it. And this package speaks volumes about the kind of person she is generous, grounded, and wholehearted in her work.

After years of holding others in therapy rooms, retreats and circles… it feels really beautiful to be the one being held. To be supported. To be learning. To be stretched.

I feel so honoured and fortunate to walk alongside someone whose work is led by such integrity.

Growth is a lifelong practice. And I am here for it. .yoga.counselling

Kula Circle – A Monthly Women’s Gathering

I’m so excited to be co-creating something that’s been percolating in the background for sometime really special with my dear friend and colleague, Debbie Sumner
Together, we’re offering Kula Circle — a monthly women’s gathering rooted in connection, presence, and community.

Kula is a Sanskrit word meaning community, tribe, or sacred gathering and that essence is exactly what we’re inviting here.

Kula Circle will meet on the first Thursday of every month, from 6:30–8:00pm, at Grounded (Connings precinct).
Our first gathering will be Thursday 5th March.

This is a gentle, welcoming space to slow down, share a cup of tea, connect with yourself and others, and engage in meaningful, heart-centred conversation. Some evenings may have a soft theme or intention to guide the circle, while others will simply unfold organically, shaped by the women who gather and what’s present in the room.

Energy exchange: Sliding scale
$25 is a suggested contribution — please pay what you can. No one will be turned away for financial reasons.

If you feel called to join us, please reach out. There will also be the option to be added to a WhatsApp group so we can stay connected between gatherings.

We would love to welcome you into the circle ✨

A little shout-out to my wonderful colleague
This arrived in the mail and I cannot wait to devour it — you know how much I love learning and deepening my understanding in this space.

Food Mad by dietitian Victoria Schonwald reframes eating disorders through a nutritional neurobiology lens, showing how under-nutrition changes brain function — making fear louder, thinking narrower, and recovery feel impossible, even when someone “knows better.”

This book so clearly explains why logic, reassurance, and motivation often fail in eating disorders, and why nourishment is the biological foundation of recovery — not an optional add-on.

A powerful, compassionate read for families, individuals, and clinicians alike.
So grateful for the work you do, Victoria 📚💙
