Our focus - a more yin style class to support self care and healing! Inviting quieter moments to listen to our bodies starting with Legs Up the Wall - one of the most restorative, relaxing yoga poses you can do. Calming your nervous system, decreases stress, relieves fatigue and supports your body and mind to feel relaxed and refreshed.

Our Focus this Month is Heart Opening Yoga!

Heart opening yoga is great to increase flexibility and mobility in the chest, upper spine and shoulders - improving our posture while releasing and creating space in our bodies.

Improves circulation and blood flow to the heart which helps our bodies transition into sleep easier and have a deeper rest.

Improves lung function as the chest and lungs expand, allowing more oxygen flow which helps to improve energy levels.

Our heart opening yoga may help release emotional blockages, letting go of stress and anxiety while creating space to experience more love, joy, forgiveness and compassion in our lives.

If you would like to join our Monthly Full Moon Flow and Restore Sessions to deepen this practice - next session is on

Sunday 21st July 10am-12pm at Saxton Netball Rooms - $25

Awaken the Light!
Come and join us to celebrate the Winter Solstice and the full moon of June with a grounding flow and restore yoga session.

Sunday 23rd June 10-12 at Richmond School Hall - $25

The Winter Solstice marks the delicate dance between the poles of light and dark.
While the winter season represents the yin qualities of slowness, reflection and receptivity, the solstice also marks the cyclical return of sunlight.

As we connect with the natural rhythms of our earth, tuning into and aligning ourselves with nature - we offer a time to pause and reflect so that we live guided and filled with intention.

This month's floor based practice offers an opportunity to connect with the light within, connect with a candle flame and cultivate a sense of inner stillness and resilience.
We honor the darkness and embrace the potential for renewal and growth that lies within ourselves and the world around us.

Wrap up warm and bring your mats and blankets, spare bolsters and blocks will be available.

As we flow from Autumn into the cooler Winter weeks, this month's session we will start by supporting our legs up the fabulous wall space in the hall.
Initially to relieve tension, fatigue, any discomfort in the back/shoulders. Then offering stretches in this supportive position to gently release the lower back, hamstrings and hips, improving circulation and aiding digestion.
We will keep warm with the wonderful heaters, and some floor based movements to increase blood circulation, improve the health of the lymphatic system and support a healthy back while increasing strength and mobility.

It's time to release and let go! Peel off the layers of what we think we may need to be doing or achieving - and reconnect with our true selves, uncovering what it really feels like to be whole and complete, moment by moment, day by day!

Floor based flow and restore yoga sessions are breath-led and offered at a slower pace, modified to individual needs and abilities on the day. Sessions are designed to down-regulate your nervous system, to take time for yourself to centre and balance on all levels. A wonderful practice for every ‘body'.

Encouraging a more somatic style of yoga, with gentle flowing movements that create deeper awareness of the physical body while inviting a more conscious focus on the internal experience of the movements, rather than the external appearance.

Between the flow sequences, postures are held with support of blankets, blocks and bolsters - when combining supported positions with the conscious direction of the breath and awareness, the benefits of the postures are multiplied on all levels, physically, mentally and emotionally.
Breath work practices are also offered to develop and support healthy breathing which improves our posture, emotional and mental well-being. When the quality of the breath improves it helps to relieve stress and improve circulation, balance our heart rate, sleeping patterns often get better and feelings of fatigue will lessen improving our overall vitality.

Each class concludes with a Relaxation, which is an opportunity for the body and mind to rest and rejuvenate.
Deeply nurturing and healing class for every 'body' to rebalance and restore on all levels, physically, emotionally and mentally.
Suitable for all ages and abilities - no yoga experience is necessary.
