Community Arts Works will be at the Sunday market tomorrow selling lots of craft type things. Books, magazines, lace, dollies, ribbon, too much to mention. Bring cash, buy lots and come and say hello to Faye and Gretchen. This is a fundraiser for CAW.

Photos from the Mask Parade in 2015. Theme was World of Books. CAW did L.Frank Baum's Wizard of Oz. It was great fun. Getting ready for this year's parade on the Fri Nov 1st. Who knows who'll you see in the CAW group.

Letting you know that CAW has shifted from 81 Achillles Ave to the new spot, 11 Hastings St in Pioneer Park, the old Underwater Club room. It was not an easy shift and the new place comes with many challenges to make it suitable for our clients. That means reopening will be delayed. We intend to reopen for our regular programs on Monday July 15th. A big thank you to all those who helped with the shift. Many hands helped.

Just so you know folks, Community Art Works is having to relocate. As of now we have yet to find a suitable space, the article below will tell the story.

The grocery store is making a first step into Nelson with a pop-up in Wakatu Square.
