Flu season is on its way — now’s the time to protect yourself and your whānau.

The best way to help protect yourself and others from the flu is to get your flu jab every year. Protection can decrease over time, and flu strains change each season — so last year’s vaccine may not cover this year’s strains.

We have 4 flu vaccine options available for 2026:

Influvac Tetra (Funded) – from 1 April
For those aged 65+ and people with eligible health conditions

Fluzone – $57
For people under 65

Fluad – $70
Recommended for ages 50+, designed to boost immune response

Flucelvax – $70
Suitable for ages 6 months to 65 years
