It's surprising how often I get asked this question. I have seen it in other people and I see it in myself. If I am in a stressed state for long enough a 💥flare-up is pretty much guaranteed🤦. But having plan that I know will work makes all the difference when I move into recovery mode.

Have you heard about the 🌟𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗶𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗹 (𝗔𝗜𝗣)? 🌟
I don't just recommend it for autoimmune conditions. It is also very effective for things like fibromyalgia (which maybe autoimmune too 🤔) and gut issues like IBS. 🌿AIP is helpful for pin pointing foods that you may be eating which are triggering flare-ups.

Here's how I make my face balm that I use as a moisturiser 🌿. I have made this for years after trying sooo many commercial brands that my skin reacted to 🤦. I know all the ingredients in here and that they are safe for my skin 💕.
This is a basic recipe that I change up from time to time, but the core remains the same. You can get all the ingredients from Pure Nature.
🌼
🌿Melt together: 75g Sweet almond oil (infused with Calendula officinalis, 10g Meadowfoam oil & 15g Bees wax.
🌿Stir until it cools and thickens to help keep the ingredients blended together.
🌿Then stir in 1 drop of Rosemary Oleoresin and 5 drops of essential oils. This time I used Boswellia serrata (Frankincense).
🌿Pour into sterilised containers. Leave to set and reach room temperature before capping and labelling with ingredients, name and date manufactured. Keep extras in the fridge to preserve.

😔If you’ve built your identity on being capable, driven, and always “on” pausing to rest can bring on feelings of guilt.
✨️But you are more than your outputs and it is ok to take time out.
✨️Your healing will not come from pushing harder.
✨️It comes from restoring balance — physically, mentally, emotionally.
⏸️ And sometimes, the bravest thing you can do… is press pause.

😳 Still awake and doom scrolling?
🥱 Wired but tired and can't sleep?
➡️ Read these instructions, then put your phone down and try this right now...
✨️ Lay down and close your eyes. Rest your hands on your belly
✨️ Take a deep breath in and then let it out, feeling your belly rise and fall. Do this 3 times, allowing your body to relax with each breath.
✨️ Then breathe at your usual rate, but with each outward breath continue to relax a little more.
✨️ If your thoughts keep intruding, gently put them aside and refocus on your breath, your belly rising and falling and your muscles relaxing.
😴 Do this until you fall asleep.
