Coronation Lodge Rest Home has two BIG guests: Marlene's cats!
Marlene is resident living in Coronation Lodge Rest Home. She has 2 lovly cats her dughter couple care to them. Malene misses her baby and talk to them several time in her dream.
Last Saturday was a particularly joyful day for Marlene and fellow residents at Coronation Lodge. In a thoughtful gesture, Mrs. Sharyn and her husband arranged an outdoor-themed play castle for cats and installed a cozy “sleep house” in Marlene’s room to enhance her comfort and enjoyment.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Mrs. Sharyn and her husband for their compassion, dedication, and heartfelt contributions to the wellbeing of our residents.
The two cats remain a source of delight and warmth for everyone at the home.

Vintage car visitors arrived at Coronation Lodge Rest Home

Vintage car visitors arrived at Coronation Lodge Rest Home on Thursday, 26 February 2026, at approximately 10:15 am.

Our residents are excited—and rightly so: it’s going to be a wonderful morning.
The highlight? Six residents have been invited to ride in the vintage car for a 20-minute tour of the city centre.
