Exploring death, destruction, hopeless and a sense of time running out in a session. Although they are big topics the session was playful and exploring the irony of life and death.

A big thank you to Vanlines who came and moved us last Friday. We are now in the Kings Building and are slowly unpacking there. It’s been a massive job and a good chance to practice tackling big things a chunk at a time

It can be so hard to keep ourselves ‘safely’ on the edge of the vortex and the chaos. Being a curious ‘observer’ of ourselves and the situation we can keep some sense of perspective still. Once we are in the vortex it becomes hard to keep a sense of perspective as we go more into panic and survival mode. Lately I have been reflecting on how we can navigate chaotic times/situations that feel like a vortex.

Well…. Unexpectedly we are on the move again. The building we are in needs to be earthquake strengthened and we can’t be here while it is done. In two weeks are returning back to the ‘Kings building’. It’s familiar territory and the new rooms will be fabulous. Onwards and upwards!

A visit to Melbournes laneways full of graffiti art reminded me of how creativity encompasses the ability to discover new and original ideas, connections and solutions to problems. It is a basic human drive. Creativity fosters resilience and sparks joy. Creativity can be seen in completed awe inspiring works of art but mostly it is seen in the daily acts of living - the clothes we chose, the ways we arrange our living spaces, the ingenuity we show and in many other ways every day. We are all creative.
