Today I’m lighting a candle to honour and celebrate all the mothers, nurturers and mother figures in our lives ✨

As someone lucky enough to have four mums in my life, I know motherhood comes in many forms.

The women who conceive us.
The women who raise us.
The women who guide us.
The women who choose us.
The women who love us, hold us, encourage us and help shape who we become.

May you feel appreciated for all the unseen things you carry, hold and give to others.
May you find time to soften, to rest, to laugh, to love and to be nurtured too.

And to those carrying love for mothers or children no longer physically beside them — I feel you. May today meet you gently with a knowing softness cradling your heart.

And always remember what she gave you… matters 🤍

I was asked earlier this month if I have any Christmas traditions…
I do have a few, some shifting as my kids get older.
But my non-negotiable is taking a quiet moment to light a candle for my son, and for the loved ones who can’t be with us in body.

This year I’m lighting a Silver Shimmer 🤍
a pathway I resonate with, my
heart open, energy rising up into
a soft connection to the unseen. ✨
But if you’re someone who feels your people in the soil more than the air
(or down there instead of up there 😉)
there’s always Golden Glimmer 💛
steady, earthy, tangible, heart to ground.
