ConTact C.A.R.E Flinchlock Release® is a ground breaking method offering a ‘Common-sense Approach to Real Ease’ (C.A.R.E). While many techniques work from the outside in, ConTact C.A.R.E. works from the inside out - supporting the body at its deepest physical level (bone) to create a solid foundation for ongoing health and injury recovery. This is done by releasing the bodies pressure on the inside (at bone level), responsible for causing the problem the individual is experiencing on the outside (joint, nerve, circulation, respiratory, muscular, skin, etc.)
Pioneered in New Zealand by Dale Speedy, ConTact C.A.R.E® is a powerful, non-manipulative system that works alongside the intelligence of the body to release bones from a state of shock and impact trauma. Contact C.A.R.E is a method that recognizes the natural principle that 'pressure on pressure feels good', and by matching and recreating the trapped states of internal pressure, an automatic relaxation of the skeletal defence system occurs, which enables your body to “unravel”, creating a decrease in the bones internal pressure and providing the opportunity for correct function to be restored to your skeletal system.
ConTact C.A.R.E. practitioners release "unconscious" areas of the body, thus enabling natural function of the whole body to be restored.
ConTact C.A.R.E. works by identifying pressurized bones in the skeletal system which are referred to as being Flinchlocked®. Flinchlocked® bones are responsible for overriding the normal function of the body, forcing it to act or move in a way that is unconscious & unnatural. These are the source of our troubles. Once identified, the Flinchlocked® state is released from the grip it is stuck in through the correct application of pressure (physical touch), to the right areas, in the right way. This creates an automatic relaxation of the skeletal defense system, enabling normal muscular function to return. ConTact C.A.R.E. treatments support the physical limitations of the body, do not use force or manipulation, and offer a safe and relaxing experience. All treatments for people take place fully clothed.
