Fitzroy Optometrists and Opticians is a family owned and operated independent practice. The business was established in 1961 by Ron Phillips as Ronald M Phillips Optometrists. Ronʼs son-in-law, Michael Warner, the Dispensing Optician, joined him in 1987. Ron retired in 2011 after over fifty years of practice and his daughter Anne and her husband Michael Warner took over as owners. Fitzroy Optometrists and Opticians is a well equipped practice priding itself on providing professional, honest, quality service to its patients in a warm and caring atmosphere. The staff consist of an Optometrist (Alex), Dispensing Optician (Michael), and Assistants (Anne and Pauline). They are all very passionate about the business motto of
“SERVICE MATTERS – PEOPLE MATTER”

We are located in the Fitzroy Village Shopping Centre where you will find FREE PARKING and easy wheelchair access. Look for us behind the carved wooden door.
