Sacred Waters - A Somatic Sound Journey

Within you flows an ancient river. The waters of your body - tears, blood, lymph, the tides of your cells - are not separate from the oceans, rivers, and rains of Earth. They are the same waters that have cycled through time, carrying the memory of creation, the whispers of ancestors, and the codes of life itself.

In this guided Somatic Sound Journey, you are invited to return to your sacred waters within.

Through breath, sound, and the currents of light language, we will flow into the inner reservoirs of wisdom and remembrance.

As you rest inside this sonic landscape, you will be invited into connection with:
- the waters of your own body
- the waters of the Earth - oceans, rivers, springs, and rain
- the timeless waters carried through all beings, past, present and future.

At the altar, a vessel of living structured water will be present - infused with sound, frequency, and prayer throughout the journey. In closing ceremony, we will each receive this water, drinking together as a ritual of integration, blessing, and embodiment.

This is a space of deep listening, cleansing, and renewal - a remembering that you, too, are a vessel within the great vessel of life.
Come as you are. Leave as water - fluid, flowing, and renewed.
Doors open 6.15pm

Please bring a cup and everything you need to feel comfortable and cosy laying or seated on the floor.

Tuesday 15th October marks the start of term 4 of Somatic Inquiry. A weekly class I run for women based on the principles of Somatic Dance. It is a closed group with the commitment to the full 8 class term. This means you get to know and create connection with each other and yourself as we dive deep into the knowing of our bodies. It has grown into a beautiful community for transformation and shared wisdom. We are almost at full capacity so DM me asap if this sounds like something you would like to explore!

DANCE TEMPLE - THE INTERNAL FLAME
Saturday 6 September 6-9pm - Held above Escape Cafe

This journey calls on the element of fire - to awaken the worthiness of your dreams and desires, transform what is ready to shift, and ignite your inner power.
Through embodied movement, sound, and ritual, you’ll move from desire into action, feeling what is alive to be set aflame.
Awaken the senses, stoke your life force, and dance in the glow of your own transformation.

THE FLOW

6:00PM - Doors open for gentle arrival, connection, exploration of the space and a blessing on arrival.

6:30PM - We spiral into circle with Ginger tea to ground.
From here the music and movement journey begins with Claire facilitating

8.45PM - We close with integration and supplied kai to nourish body and spirit.

Somatic Inquiry is moving to the Kaitake Community Sports Hub - a beautiful space beside the Oakura river mouth, where land meets sea.
It’s more than a venue - it’s an energetic ally for our journey.
Each week, we’ll move with the tides, feel the pulse of the earth beneath us, and breathe in the expanse of sky.
There is space for 16 women. 9 women have already said YES!
8 weeks.
One shared field of presence.

Today I find myself enjoying solitude.
Sinking into its soft embrace and call for rest.
Noticing the thoughts.
The ebb and flow of my breath.
The sounds of fluids pulsing through my body.
The constant chatter of my mind begins to quieten.
I lean into the spaces between the thoughts.
Allowing and inviting the space to expand.
The sun warms my skin, sending light codes rippling into my being.
And for a moment there is nothing...
A vast, expansive void of exquisite silence...
I could float here forever in this nothing...
This nothing...
And yet somehow it is EVERYTHING
