The Nia Technique is a dance-fitness class that empowers people of all shapes and sizes to step into a joyful relationship with their bodies and movement. Nia combines martial arts, healing arts, and dance arts to create a high-powered, synergistic workout that no isolated exercise technique can match. Part choreographed and part free-form, Nia delivers a solid aerobic workout, with each experience adaptable to individual needs and abilities. Classes are generally done barefoot to soul-stirring music that motivates every part of you to move. Getting started with a new Nia Offering in a New town sometimes takes time to find the right Venue. Im so Thankful to Sport Taranaki for supporting me with endorsement from the Taranaki Strength and Balance programme and PD NZ. A New Chapter of FREEDOM DANCE has begun. Last Wednesday I welcomed 3 PD persons into my Taranaki-based FREEDOM DANCE class for people living with Parkinson's. It feels humbling to begin again in New Plymouth after offering this class for 8 years in Hamilton. If you are not in New Plymouth, you can join this class on Zoom and meet my new dancers!
Please email me for the Zoom link. Exclusively for PD persons and their caregivers. Oakura Church Hall, 10am on Wednesdays.

9:30am Raglan Town Hall. $20 entry fee or on you Nia with belinda Consession card.Fancy DRESS if you dare!
