Hi everyone

We are looking for a part time experienced gardener to join our gardening team at Maida Vale Retirement Village.

This position is only for 12 hours per week and we are flexible with the days that you want to work. This position would suit someone that has retired or who only wants part time hours.

Maida Vale Retirement Village currently have casual positions available for pantry hand, kitchen hand and cleaners.

This is to cover sick leave and annual leave with possible opportunity to have a permanent position should one become available.

We still have one permanent position available for a cleaner, 35 hours per fortnight working every second weekend.

Charge Nurse Position

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Charge nurse position at Maida Vale Retirement Village.

Maida Vale has two care facilities. One comprises of 34 residents, predominately Hospital level care, the other has 45 residents with a mix of Hospital and Rest home Care.

Maida Vale gained excellent audit results, very resident directed and strive to be the best.

We are looking for a Charge nurse who is dedicated, passionate about their residents, with a good monitoring and role modelling style.

Skills & experience required:

At least 3 years leadership experience in aged care as charge nurse/team leader.

Be able to hit the floor running when required.

Have experienced/been part of proven excellent audit results in previous roles.

Have a "hands on approach" leading by example.

Strong communication skills & ability to provide leadership to staff members.

Excellent with reports, careplans & InteRai competent.

Good IT skills and reporting.

Hold a current NZ APC.
