Join us on our Wintering Retreat❄️
Thursday 18th June - Sunday 21st June

June marks ten years of REVA, and we could not think of a better way to celebrate than with you.

We are heading to Kula in Muriwai for three nights. Oceanfront. Surrounded by rolling green hills and stunning architecture. Five star accommodation, a dedicated Yoga Shala, saunas, ice baths and beautiful catering designed to bring you back to yourself.

Three of our most experienced facilitators will be holding the space: Natasha Mason, Nadine Rogers and Zara Brouwers.

This retreat is an invitation to honour the inner Winter. To slow down, turn inward and be held by the season rather than resist it. At a time when rest feels like a luxury, we are making it the priority.

Each day begins with an 8am Flow practice with Live DJ and closes with a gentle Yin. In between, you will enjoy Breathwork, Somatic Dance, Cacao Ceremony, Tarot, guided Journalling, three healthy meals and delicious snacks. Time is also set aside for massage therapy, reiki, sauna, ice baths, connected conversation and genuine rest.

Places are limited to 15. Accommodation is tiered. Browse all the available rooms on our website and reserve your space with just a $199 deposit.

If your heart is feeling the pull and your spirit craving revitalisation, then simply follow the link in our bio.

Alternatively you can book with ease in our REVA Yoga App under the Retreat tab.

Once your deposit is paid we will be in touch via email to confirm your choice of room, any dietary requirements you may have and send you a welcome pack of what to bring with you. Final payments due two weeks prior to retreat. Many of us are road tripping together so we can also put you in touch with those interested in car pooling to Muriwai.

SOUND HEALING this Saturday 2nd May🪉

Join for her last event with us before she moves to Hamilton. It will be a very special evening for sure.

Sound bath is a deeply restorative experience designed to realign your energy and bring a sense of harmony to your mind and body.

This 75 minute session begins with a guided meditation, helping you release blockages and cultivate inner balance. As you settle into deep relaxation, you’ll be immersed in the healing vibrations of crystal singing bowls, chakra chimes, Koshi chimes, drums, and rain sticks, each carefully chosen to resonate with different energy centers in the body. The blend of sound and intention creates a powerful space for relaxation, renewal, and deep inner connection.

No prior experience is needed—just bring an open heart and a willingness to receive.

The Things No-one Talks About.

No-one talks about the possibility you could find yourself raising children on your own. Or that rebuilding with two little ones would come with a surprising grief of letting go of the sibling they would never have.

No-one talks about losing everything and having to start again from scratch. Or how hard it is to rely solely on yourself only later having to relearn how to let someone else in.

No-one talks about navigating a blended family and shared care. Or being a part time parent when your heart is only ever full-time.

No-one talks about the school bags that move between homes, the little shoes that walk out the door. Or the fact that their room is still made, their favourite snacks ready and soft toys sit awaiting their return.

No-one talks about the guilt that you ever longed for a brief moment of quiet in your home. Or the day dreams about what their little bodies might be doing for the other half of life you don’t see.

No-one talks about the dinner table set sometimes for four and the others just for two. Or the reconciliation of raising your two beautiful children on Wednesdays, Thursdays and alternate weekends, alongside a third whom you will tuck in every night.

No-one talks about how hard it is to decide to try again when your inner body holds memories of the past. Or the process of becoming at peace with the waltz between love and fear.

No-one talks about the sadness and the joy that belong beside each other for every Mother. Or that she welcomes another a child only to farewell another part of her old self.

No-one talks about the fact that life is never as you imagined, that there is no right or wrong or good or bad. Or that your greatest source of pain is the unmet expectation of what you thought it would be.

There’s a lot that no-one talks about. And in our solitary processing there is absence of solidarity. The reality is it is all fu***ng messy, imperfect and beautiful.

Yes, life can bring you to your knees but when it does it is only ever to return you full circle, to your original wholeness 🤎

Our Whare in the Autumn light 🍂

Tis a time where the days begin feeling cooler, our body is naturally slowing its internal pace and our spirit starts seeking something more nourishing. In Studio the infra red heaters warm our bones during morning practice, the candles are lit at lunchtime and dusk falls upon us in evening Savasana. We love this transitional time of year, especially with the earthy remnants of Palo Santo hanging in the air when you walk up the stairs. Our space is like a warm hug from a loved one during uncertain times, just the tonic needed for modern life.

To mark the shift of seasons and honour the shedding of old leaves, we are celebrating with two specials🙌

✨ Enjoy 15% off the first month of any of our Studio Memberships with the code AUTUMN15 at checkout.

✨ Or pick up a 10 Class Pack for $250 and receive 2 COMPLIMENTARY classes.

Class packs can be used interchangeably on Yoga or Reformer Pilates, with a choice from 50 different classes per week.

Offers end Easter Sunday 5th April at midnight🐣

24/03/2026

These past few days I have been reflecting on what it means to be grounded. Perhaps our traditional understanding of grounding is no longer relevant in this version of reality.

As I was teaching the theory of Shunyata (a Buddhist concept of groundlessness) yesterday, after shocks from the Tongan earthquake rolled through the studio. A serendipitous moment reminding all of us that nothing is in fact stable.

Over the past ten years in both business and my personal life I have navigated many ‘crises’. We all have. It feels as though crises are akin to ‘normal everyday life’. This redefining is both unsettling and exhausting. Many conversations with clients and friends this week have centred around fatigue, ongoing stress, uncertainty and sprinklings of resentment. Why should this impact us? When will it end? How come it’s not like it used to be? What do we do if it all falls over?
I feel it too, at times it manifests as pressure on my chest, other times it’s a headiness or an itch.

It’s always an interesting juxtaposition teaching through these times, holding candles for others while simultaneously breathing through your own anxiety. There is this moment in class, shortly after the greetings, musings, sharings and pranayama where the room settles together. A collective calm arrives, as a facilitator I too am a recipient of it’s orb. In that moment the practice carries us to a place where we need not have all the answers, where we can be at peace with our fears and we can fumble with gentle presence. Slowly we expand into the field beyond this world, where we do not need to cling to anything fixed but rather embrace the fluid concept that everything lacks inherent existence. In that place we have nothing to lose, just unlimited potentiality to experience when the projections dissolve. It is something quite special.

Our Yoga serves us well when we meet unanswerable questions. Our Yoga serves us well when the world changes faster than our mind can comprehend. Our Yoga serves us well when the systems that were built to ‘support’ us disintegrate.

If you need us during these times, we’ll be here, just practicing our Yoga 🤎

Yasi 🤎

Three years ago this beautiful human being wandered up the stairs, she had just moved to New Plymouth from Malaysia with her husband. Blessed are we that she arrived with a golden aura, the sweetest laugh and the kindest heart there ever was. There are few in this world quite like Yasi. Many of you have come to know and adore Yasi for her thoughtful sequencing, wild challenges, remarkable practice and more importantly the care she gives to each and every student in her classes.

We have all learnt a great deal from Yasi, whether it be through guided movement, her mindful wisdom or the healing arts of sound bath. Many of us have also learnt about Yasi’s upbringing and life as an Iranian woman born and raised under the regime now at the centre of world conflict.

Thank you Yasi for helping us to understand what so few here on the ground in New Zealand can comprehend. You are an inspiration to us and to your hundreds of thousands of Iranian Yogini followers. You are a fierce advocate for women, a flag bearer of hope and someone who radiates love. I know that you claiming your authenticity and empowering others to do the same has come at a high cost to you, including the inability for you to return home to Iran. I’m so proud and in awe of your bravery.

Next month we farewell Yasi as she moves to Hamilton to be with her husband for a big progression in his career. Our heart hurts saying goodbye and we know yours does not leave lightly either. We hope you return for workshops, retreats, teacher trainings and to just call in and update us of your life’s adventures, because you truly are part of our REVA family.

Do make sure you make the most of Yasi’s last few weeks of lunchtime flows, give her a cuddle and express your gratitude for all the gifts she has shared with us🫶

We are going to miss you our dear friend xx

Written for the little one inside who thought she needed to be palatable and perfectly packaged. The one who only ever wanted to be herself, who despite what the world told her of womanhood - discovered the truth through practice.
