Yesterday, we were able to pull off a huge order for our iwi, with these rongoaa gift packs made for our indigenous people travelling from around the world to visit our rohe. A total of 50 packs made up and delivered in under 48 hours 😱.

Te Makau Ariki rongoa of Kumarahou, Kawakawa Cream and Kawakawa Oil will be available at the Poohara Paa Poukai this coming Sunday.

KUMARAHOU - Was used by Maori and is a particularly helpful Rongoa for tamariki and kaumaatua because it is such a gentle remedy, especially when supporting improved lung health and bronchial system function.

KAWAKAWA CREAM = “$30.00”
The pani can be used as a general moisturiser, Hand Cream, Night time facial moisturiser, made only with the oils of Kawakawa leaves and Pure Nature Emulsifier, no other added chemicals.

KAWAKAWA OILS -
Kawakawa leaves were traditionally used topically for numerous conditions including, bruises, rheumatism, dry - irritated skin and minor cuts and infections or can be used as a massage oils and marinades for kai.

Te Makau Ariki preparing Kawakawa oil using native Kawakawa leaves harvested from near our tupuna awa Waikato.

The kawakawa will cook for 24 hours and left to extract the most purest form before being bottled and available.

Moorenaa e te iwi.

Due to the high demand of our Kuumarahou we have had to put a hold on any new orders. Heeoi, we are in the process of making a new batch of rongoaa, ordering more bottles and getting more labels done. These should be ready for you all within the next week or two.

KUUMARAHOU: can be used as a general tonic to treat a variety of ailments, but particularly effective for;
• chest complaints
• coughs and colds
• bronchitis
• pulmonary tuberculosis
• heartburn and asthma.

It is said to have a beneficial effect on the kidneys and was even used to treat arthritis and menstrual pain.

Ingredients: Organic Kuumarahou leaves made in kangen Water.
