A wee photo dump of my activies in the last few months.
I'm here there and everywhere. Enjoying wānanga, supporting kaupapa, attending live events, eating home made kai, healing and reconnecting kiritaki to their divine selves, quality time with whānau and friends, & lots of sleep! 😆
I quietly navigate a peaceful and abundant journey of high vibration and healing in this realm ❤️ 😍

And she looks fabulous. My last Rongoā Māori session in the series uses mineral cosmetics to ritually reconnect my clients back to Papatūānuku. This reclaims a traditional process dating back to time immemorial and is still in use by the Nubian tribes of North Africa.
Do you know what you're putting on and in your body?

I enjoy disrupting spaces, I always have. I am not everyone's cup of tea; I challenge the status quo and identify gaps. I also find solutions.
As a current PhD researcher, my job is to back up my philosophies with facts. As a Rongoā Māori practitioner, I am guided by Tikanga Rongoā.
In this article, I was interviewed about what Rongoā Māori is from my perspective. And I can tell you it is not a massage!

When Clearhead’s Jo sat down with Rongoā Māori practitioner, hair & makeup artist, and researcher Bianca Fallon, the kōrero quickly revealed two themes that guided everything she shared: Rongoā Māori is centred on safety, and every practitioner and client is individual. Over more than an hour...

Before I recommend anything, I trial it.
I had a great experience at Hinē Rei, and Taiawa Steaming, also known as Yoni Steaming, was the highlight of the day.
The process is safe, tranquil and private. Using heat and rākau rongoā to cleanse, while listening to a meditation that helped keep me focused.
This service works for those who require negative or past energy within their whare tanagata removed through virginal steaming.
At the end, I noticed my lower regions were literally vibrating! That was a new experience for me.
EAP, Ignite and ACC funded.

Ok whànau I know I've been quiet of late 😊
I'm on a 10,000 word PhD Research Proposal submission deadline for this Sunday!
Literally juggling work, family, running a household & myself.
I have been writing 6 hours each evening for 8-weeks, and this week putting in 12+ days getting my draft pulled together from over 40, 000 + words written over the last 2 years!

Now, I landed on a wee trick from Trading & Nativeneem. I have 1 morning caramel latte with cinnamon & rock salt, & I added Lionsmane to it to support my focus, and it worked!
Give it a go, it's working for me.

Te Whare Whakaora 2-day Hau Maranga Wānanga was worth the early starts and 12hr day.
This collective, stacked with our social services whānau, we were in top form, and we worked hard.
Inspiring spaces that fill up your cup ❤️ 😍

One of my favourite things to do when everything aligns is a Rongoā Māori plant identification hīkoi with kaiako Emma Haslam, in conjunction with Auckland Council.
Tikanga is present, and Emma can take the smallest bush space, turning it into a wānanga space.
Roy Clements Walkway in Mt Albert/St Luke's, and it is the park under my parents' city home. So I jumped at the chance to poke around 😆

Jane Iredale's Autumn Mineral Cosmetic collection workshop and launch was a homecoming to my roots, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

During my tenure as Hair & Makeup HOD at Māori+ Television, Jane Iredale was my introduction to cosmetics that heal, not harm.

In my Master's Degree in Applied Indigenous Knowledge, I researched mineral ritual applications that were eliminated by assimilation, further reclaiming them in my holistic practice, and reconnecting with Papatūānuku.

Te Whē Wānanga in Whatawhata was a 3-day immersion into the whakapapa of sound and vibration.
It was empowering as we explored our personal sound frequency.
This isn't for the faint-hearted. You do need to get vulnerable; however, the reward is one solely for you to grow from.
