Out and about for the Pink Ribbon Appeal!
Today, we stepped up to support the Pink Ribbon Appeal. Volunteering our time to help collect donations for this important cause. And yes, Dave was there too! Doing his bit in his own furry way (though getting a selfie with a dog is easier said than done!).
We’re proud to be part of a community that shows up with heart.

This blog from FDANZ reminds us that while “no fuss” may seem like the simplest option, it can leave families without the space to grieve, reflect, and honour their person’s life.
We’re here to support meaningful goodbyes that bring comfort and connection.

Research shows 𝟓𝟕% 𝐨𝐟 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐙𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡— often avoiding it completely. Many, like Ewan, choose “no fuss” thinking it will spare their families.

But “𝑛𝑜 𝑓𝑢𝑠𝑠” often overlooks the emotional needs of loved ones left behind. While practicality may feel kind, family members can be left without a place to cry together, share memories, or honour a life lived.

As one grieving son reflected:

A huge win for a great cause! We’re so proud to have been part of this fundraiser — amazing things happen when we come together. Big thanks to everyone who made it such a special event. 💙

We had a great time at our Blue Do last week supporting Prostate Cancer Foundation of New Zealand. Thanks to all those that came along and joined in the fun. Together we raised $1400 for PCFNZ.
