We’ll be closed this Friday, 20th June, to celebrate the Matariki holiday and spend time with whānau. We’ll be OPEN as usual on Saturday from 9am to 12am and look forward to seeing you then!

Matariki marks the Māori New Year, a special time to reflect and look forward. According to many Māori traditions, the nine stars of Matariki—Matariki, Pōhutukawa, Waitī, Waitā, Waipuna-ā-rangi, Tupuānuku, Tupuārangi, Ururangi, and Hiwa-i-te-rangi—each hold unique meanings connected to the environment and our experiences.

With a recent measles case reported in Auckland, it’s more important than ever to check your immunisation status and get vaccinated to protect yourself and others. Measles is a highly contagious and serious disease, but it’s preventable with the MMR vaccine. Here’s what you need to know:

You’re immune if you:
✅ Were born before 1969
✅ Have had measles before
✅ Had 2 doses of the MMR vaccine after your first birthday
✅ Have a blood test confirming immunity

🌟 About the MMR Vaccine:

Protects against measles, mumps, and rubella.

FREE for:

ANZAC Day Closure & Weekend Hours:

Marsden Cove Pharmacy will be closed on Friday, 25th of April 2025 to obeserve Anzac Day. We will reopen as usual on Saturday, 25th of April (9am to 12noon) and resume normal hours from Monday, 28th of April onwards.

Let us take this time to honour and remember the bravery and legacy of the brave men and women who served to protect our freedom and peace. Lest we forget.

Marsden Cove Pharmacy will be closed over the Easter long weekend to allow our team to enjoy the holiday with their loved ones. Please plan ahead and ensure you have all necessary prescriptions and medications before we close on Thursday 17th of April at 5.30pm. As usual, we will be happy to assist you with these.
