This term kicks off next week with the forever fav 5:45am Early Rise (L2) classes followed up by the 6:30am (L1) classes, start your day with a blend of mind-body connection and high vibes (not just the caffeine.)

From 8:30am classes flow between Foundational Refomer (L1) and Foundational Mat (L1) with Functional Fitness completing the mornings movement.

Tuesday and Wednesdays evening classes are for Foundational movement, Mat and Refomer to finish your day the Pilates way 💕

Grey Heron Studios offers Contemporary Pilates Classes, with The Principle’s underpinning every class within the method that aligns the body and the mind. Each class is carefully curated with modifications and props to support each and every body through movement.

Functional Fitness is here to support bodies to move on form, these classes are created from the base up and programmed from functional movement patterns that transfers to everyday daily movement.

Privates and consults can be booked via reaching out. Privates are highly recommended for those post Physio rehab and consults are the perfect way to find the class that’ll best suit you or if privates are more inline with your goals. Semi privates are also available for booking.

The schedule is created around our community, created for you by you 💕 reach out if there’s a time and day we don’t have, based on interested and time availability these classes will be added to our schedule. This way we’re not creating schedules simply to create a schedule.

The fav Early Rise through to the 9:30am classes will continue along with Privates, these are your Foundational L1 and Progressive L2 mat and reformer classes with evening classes being added as the cooler weather arrives these classes will be the relaxation your mind is searching for at the end to your day 🍂

And yes, the Hybrid mixed equipment will be reappearing on the schedule 🔥🌶️🍑 This is a Progressive L2, its glutes, core and as always on form.

Foundational L1 classes are programmed to create a solid foundation, these classes start from the base and bring awareness from the lower kinetic chain up. Throughout, the Principles underpin our movements creating an even deeper connection to our bodies.
Progressive L2 classes build on the Foundational work, here we continue to challenge strength and mobility and flexibility of the body. These class exercises would be described as ‘fun’ by Nara, meaning they challenge your mind just as much as your body 👌
We have classes for hapū and postpartum mummas, if you’re new to the studio please reach out to chat, it is of great importance to us that you come into the right class for you.

We also offer complimentary consults, if you haven’t tried Pilates or experienced the method on all equipment this is an excellent opportunity! You’ll be taken through foundational exercises, the principles explained and see what each piece of equipment offers. This is also highly recommended for those with injuries or medical conditions prior to joining class or are considering privates.

We all have our own story, roads we’ve walked, mountains we’ve climbed, the unheard and unseen battles, the wins we cheered ourselves on in quiet then the moments everyone heard us roar, celebrating our climb, it’s a wild ride!

Today we celebrate the generations of woman who came before us, who shape us, made room for us, who inspire us and the next generation . . . . . . our daughters, our granddaughters who will continue to carry the fire ✨

All classes are stacked and waiting for you!
• Foundational Classes (L1) are for those who are just arriving or haven’t been for a while. In these classes we focus on functional movement, muscle engagement and the Principles that underpin our movement in Pilates.
• Progressive Classes (L2) continue to build and create mobility, flexibility and strength, you’ll love the challenge!

• One on one Pilates (1:1) can be booked via email and DM, not all 1:1 time slots are available through the online booking, reach out to book your preferred day and time or if you’d like to book a complimentary consult.
• We also offer ‘one on one’ training as a class, these are excellent for sports teams or those training as the sessions are programmed with specific goals and progression.

Grey Heron Studios is lead by Nara who is Comprehensively Trained STOTT Instructor, Qualified PT and has Pre & Post-Natal Pilates Training.

We’re here to support and guide you on your fitness journey, from support after injury through to layering into your current exercise routine.
