Summer Housekeeping Staff Wanted – Haruru Falls Motel & Conference Centre

We are looking for friendly, reliable people to join our team over the busy summer season.

Role: Housekeeping / Cleaning Staff
Location: Haruru Falls, Bay of Islands
Hours: Part-time or casual shifts available (flexible days)

Main Duties:

Cleaning and preparing guest rooms to a high standard

Servicing communal areas (bathrooms, kitchens, lounges)

General tidying to keep the property looking fresh and welcoming

What we’re looking for:

Reliable and punctual

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Physically fit and comfortable with cleaning tasks

Previous experience helpful, but not required – training provided

Groundskeeper Wanted – Haruru Falls Motel & Conference Centre

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Groundskeeper to join our team.
This is a part-time role, 2–3 days per week, paid at the current minimum wage.

Main Duties:

Lawn mowing and edging

General garden maintenance

W**d spraying

Assisting with keeping outdoor areas tidy and presentable

What we’re looking for:

Someone reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors

Basic knowledge of gardening tools and equipment an advantage

This role would suit someone local who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in keeping grounds looking their best.
