I tend to answer, just about anything.........
I spent years with back problems, actually ask anyone that knows me a lot more than back problems.....lol. I have over the years tried I think, just about everything out there to relieve pain and tension, and sort through a muddled body.
A muddled body that after many horse accidents, teenage stupidity accidents and then also going back as far as birth - I had sort of got to a point where pain and tension was normal in my world and when asked where is your felt pain, I actually couldn't answer..........I had no answer as it was all just normal after some 40 plus years of it.
Once a Flinchlock has been released unless you manage to give that same bone a shock surprise impact in that same spot, it will not reappear, it unwinds in the opposite direction it went in, and it starts to allow the body to help find its state of natural balance again.
That being said, I have a body that is feeling like it never has, and each time I see a Contact CARE practitioner and have more Flinchlock's released, my body gets better and better. My body does have a rather large back story and with it comes large amounts of Flinchlocks, as mentioned above.
Each step forward is a step in the right direction and each step feels so much lighter.

ConTact C.A.R.E addresses IMPACT Injury and Joint imbalances which are preventing normal function.
ConTact C.A.R.E Flinchlock Release - is a Martial Arts based discipline, created in NGATEA New Zealand, by Dale Weston Speedy (6th dan Blackbelt Kiaido-Ryu) and Kym Summers. ConTact C.A.R.E recognises that the skeleton defends itself automatically and independently when impacted by surprise.
This results in what we call 'SKELETAL SENSORY SHOCK'.
Skeletal sensory shock is RELEASED through a series of non-intrusive and gentle movements.
How do you do that...?
We find the angle, direction and pressure of the original surprise impact that caused the problem and RELEASE the pressure.
But how...?
ConTact C.A.R.E is hands on. We work with the client in their most comfortable positions, be that lying, standing, sitting, or where ever there comfort is. We locate the Flinchlocks (Bones with trapped pressure) by listening closely to your story, observing your gestures and how you move around the injury and most importantly by getting our hands on. (You are fully clothed - I suggest loose fitting comfortable clothing for your session)
The pressure is released with a simple and pain free formula which was discovered by Dale Speedy while he was working on a horse in 2004. The horse used a natural rhythm to release its own Bone pressure. Dale observed this and then decided to figure out how to recreate what the horse had done instinctively. ConTact C.A.R.E was then created and has evolved ever since, and keeps evolving.
Our studies are very involved and are from 3-4 years, we also go through assessments with a number of Practitioners and finally our Co-founder Kym Summers & then our Founder Dale Speedy - for Human Practitioner, for Equine it is no different with our final assessment with Camille Nelson, head of Equine Instructing and also advanced Practitioner and also Dale Speedy. Currently October 2019 I am a Student Practitioner - Human and Equine and aprox. 2 years through my training.
