A very lively morning briefing with this wee piwakawaka in our Memorial Gardens this morning. Apparently there was quite a lot of news to tell us. 😊

This Mother’s Day, we honour the mums who are forever held in our hearts. A simple flower can carry a lifetime of love, memories, and gratitude.
On Sunday 10 May, complimentary posies will be available at Oamaru Lawn Cemetery and Westview Memorial Gardens, offering a quiet moment of remembrance for a much‑loved mother.
With care, from Whitestone Funerals — in partnership with The Florist Oamaru.

Our 2026 ANZAC display has a personal touch – office administrator Louise brought these examples of embroidery that were made by her great uncle, while recovering in England after being injured in WW1.
Embroidery was widely used as a form of therapy for British, Australian and New Zealand soldiers wounded in the war.
We are proud to have these beautiful examples of this work to display this ANZAC Day. "Lest we Forget"
