Lost & Found // Over the past few months of our Yoga+Sauna Sundays, a little collection of yoga mats has made its way into our care. Some YogaTribe ones, a few Lululemon beauties, and others that are clearly well-loved.
 If you’ve been wondering where your mat disappeared to, this might be your sign. Send me a DM and we’ll reunite you. If they’re not claimed by next week, we’ll lovingly donate them.

One of my favourite things ever is trying a new studio and a new yoga teacher for the very first time. Today I finally zoomed up the road to the beautiful studio and boy oh boy.. I loved it. At the end of a green luscious driveway, inside a historical building is a cosy yoga studio with beautiful details, a peaceful vibe and an even more beautifully led class. 11.15am Strength class with Nicky ~ possibly the best midweek tune-up. I forgot how energising a good strength session was; and I might have had a mini nap during savasana. That’s always my marker for deep zen. When I feel something, I feel something. On and under the skin, with and behind my eyes. I’ll be back next week! Anyone who’s at least remotely interested in taking a new class, go and book yourself in now. Love love love!

We’re so happy to be welcoming you to Sun 1 Feb Yoga & Sauna By The Sea - Orewa Beach, and to be reopening the sauna this weekend after a little seasonal pause. It feels really special to begin the year gathered together - moving, warming, and easing back into rhythm.

Our Yoga + Sauna tickets are sold out, which we’re so grateful for. If you have friends feeling called to join last minute, they are still very welcome to come along for yoga only from 8:30-9:30am for $15, payable on arrival.

Yoga Roots by Marjolein is a peaceful and nurturing home studio in Torbay, Auckland. Weekly classes: beginners yoga, pregnancy yoga, restorative yoga, transformational yoga and meditation. Marjolein is originally from the Netherlands and now based with her family in Aotearoa. She began her yoga journey in The Netherlands with a classical hatha training and continued following trainings and teaching classes as she began to travel. She has completed 800hr of training in classical hatha yoga, pregnancy yoga, restorative yoga, yoga nidra and transformational yoga. Marjolein is a sincere yoga instructor, dedicated mum, travel addict, foodie and nature lover at heart... She is passionate about inspiring others to improve their wellbeing and live a joyful life.
