Protect yourself and your whānau this winter by getting your flu vaccine. The influenza vaccine helps reduce your risk of serious illness and protects those most vulnerable in our community.

The vaccine is free for eligible groups in Aotearoa New Zealand, including:

β€’ Pregnant people

While our practice no longer uses Manage My Health, we want to provide you with important information to help protect your health data. Please read the notice below.

We use the Well app patient portal. We chose Well because it is designed differently from Manage My Health. The Well app does not extract or retain full patient records or ongoing clinical histories outside of our practice's secure systems. Your medical records will continue to be held and managed safely by our practice, which remains the trusted source for your health information.

You may have seen recent media coverage, including the front page of yesterday's ODT, about a cybersecurity incident involving the ManageMyHealth (MMH) patient portal used by some general practices in NZ. It’s completely understandable if this has raised questions or concerns about whether your own health information is secure.

We want to reassure you that our practice uses the Well app.

We chose Well because it’s designed differently from some other patient portals. It does not extract or retain full patient records or ongoing clinical histories outside our practice systems. Your medical record continues to be held and managed securely by our practice as the trusted source.

Because of this approach, patients using Well are not exposed to this risk in the way described in the recent media coverage.

There is no action required from patients using the Well app. You can continue to use it as normal.
