Annual Beattie Home & Hospital and Papakāinga Homestead Memorial Day 🕯️

We would like to extend a warm invitation to the families and friends of residents who passed away during 2025. Please join us for a morning tea and remembrance service on Friday 30th January 2026 at 10:00am.

The Memorial will be held in the Wilshier Centre, Beattie Home & Hospital, 172 Maniapoto Street, Otorohanga.

The ‘Friends of Beattie’ ladies are at Ōtorohanga Woolworths today, Thursday and Friday this week from 9am – 4pm, running a special Christmas raffle 🎟️

Tickets are $5, with all proceeds supporting Beattie Home & Hospital residents and services.

We’re delighted to be part of this year’s local King Country Garden Ramble, with one of the featured gardens being our very own Papakāinga Homestead - a truly special space that beautifully combines design, nature, and community.

Enjoy exploring a wonderful selection of local gardens in and around the О̄torohanga District. It’s a perfect way to enjoy spring blooms, gather inspiration, and support a great community event.
