We're grateful to have recently received community sponsorship funding from The Lines Company which has enabled us to purchase 2 new sensor mats for our hospital-level residents.

Sensor mats play a vital role in supporting resident safety - alerting our team when a resident at risk of falling leaves their bed or chair. This early warning allows us to respond quickly and prevent potential injuries.

Thank you to The Lines Company for helping us continue to provide a safe environment here at Beattie Home & Hospital 💚

Beattie Village is our 19-unit independent living village located right next door to Beattie Home & Hospital. It's a peaceful, supportive community perfect for those who enjoy their independence with a little extra reassurance nearby.

A big thank you to our lovely little friends from Hopscotch Childcare & Preschool Otorohanga who delivered the most adorable shortbread biscuits to Beattie Home & Hospital and Papakāinga Homestead 🍪

Each one was lovingly cut out and made by the children. We’re so grateful for the beautiful connection between our youngest and oldest community members.

At Beattie Home & Hospital, we're coming together to celebrate Matariki - a time to reflect, remember, and look forward. Our Residents have been busy creating beautiful Matariki-themed crafts and preparing to share kai as we honour this special time of renewal and connection.

Centenarian Celebration!

Yesterday we celebrated a special milestone here at Beattie Home & Hospital - our beautiful Resident June Douglas turned 100! 💐

June enjoyed a lovely morning tea with her whānau and friends, with a special visit from Barbara Kuriger MP.

Adding to the occasion, June was thrilled to receive her official birthday letter from His Majesty The King! 👑

Happy 100th Birthday June - what an incredible life and legacy.
