The Great Longridge Potato Growing Competition returns for its fourth season. From seed to weigh-in, it’s a spud-tacular tradition filled with fun, laughs, and a bit of friendly rivalry.

The 2025 Longridge Potato Growing Competition is officially underway. Spud starters went out last Thursday and judging day is set for 30 November. Categories include biggest yield, funniest-looking potato, and more! 🥔

A few snaps from this morning’s craft group at Longridge, no two projects the same 🎨🧵

Every Monday (and Tuesday evenings too), our residents are busy stitching, painting, quilting and more.

It’s always amazing to see how much creativity is tucked into the corners of the village.

We’ll be sharing a full story soon on the talent here, but for now, just a little peek behind the scenes.

The Longridge annual Craft Fair is coming up in October, so stay tuned for more details.

It’s more common than you’d think at Longridge 🍺
Some residents have been at it for decades. Others just enjoy a cold one they made themselves.

This is the kind of village where there’s room to set things up, time to enjoy it, and neighbours who are always keen for a taste.

The team are busy getting Villa 107 ready for our Open Day tomorrow ✨

You can view four villas on the day including one fully styled and furnished by SuperPrice Furniture 🛋️ From the dining table to the cushions everything you see is available to buy. Whether you like the full look or just a few favourite pieces it’s a great way to see how your new villa can feel like home from day one.

This two bedroom plus office Maratoto layout is being fully styled and furnished this week with furniture, décor and finishing touches from our friends at SuperPrice Furniture.

We’re hustling to get it finished and looking sharp for Saturday and it’s going to be well worth seeing. 👀

Everything you’ll see inside is available to buy. Whether you're after the full look or just a few favourite pieces, it’s a great way to see how your new villa can feel like home from day one.

You’ll also be able to walk through three other villas to get a feel for the different layouts and finishes available at Longridge.
