We offer comprehensive primary health care to the local community from our new purpose built premises in the centre of town.

We operate an appointment system but we are also available for urgent needs.

Morning everyone.
Just an update around road closure for filming crew. As Princes St and Queen St are closed for the next 4 days, access to medical centre car park is via the access lane at the end of Wharf St - please be aware that parking space is very limited. If you are able to park further away and walk then please do so to leave parking available to those with mobility issues.
We remain open as usual.

We're excited to announce the return of Dr Scott Nagell as a short-term locum at our practice! He'll be with us for the next 7 weeks, providing support while our regular doctors take a well-deserved break. Dr Nagell starts next week and looks forward to seeing some familiar faces.

We’re also pleased to welcome Dr Charles Steiner from Alaska, who will join us as a locum starting January 13th for a 4-month stay.

We're grateful to have both doctors on board to assist our patients, giving our clinical team a well earned rest and helping to increase appointment availability as we enter the new year.

We’re excited to announce that Dr Adrian Ireland has joined our team as a permanent GP! With over 10 years of experience as a Director at Thames Medical Centre, Dr Ireland is no stranger to the region, having worked with us in the past and in surrounding areas.

Now, he’s bringing his wealth of knowledge and dedication to Paeroa, where he’ll be working 2 days a week. He’s passionate about giving back to the community and we know he’ll bring incredible value to our team.

We are delighted to officially welcome Nurse Practitioner Keely McSweeney to our team at Paeroa Medical Centre! Keely brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for delivering exceptional healthcare, making her a fantastic addition to our practice.

As a Nurse Practitioner, Keely offers a unique skill set and a patient-centered approach, ensuring our community continues to receive the highest standard of care and support.

Originally from Coromandel, Keely works with us three days a week. While she has already been part of our team for five months, we’re excited to finally share this news with you!

Please join us in welcoming Keely! We look forward to the positive impact she will undoubtedly have on the health and wellbeing of our patients.

This week we say farewell to Dr Barbara Loeliger who has been with us for the last 3 months. It has been great having her back and we know many of you have enjoyed catching up with her.

Dr Wendy Carroll will be away for the next few weeks and we have not been able to find another locum so far. This will leave Dr Loretta Radford and Dr Nick Ribet working in the practice, so there will be fewer available appointments for a while. We will continue to provide an urgent care service every morning.

Remember our highly skilled Nurses are still available to see you - they can manage many conditions and work closely with our doctors to provide prescriptions if needed.

Please bear with us during this time and allow extra time for your routine requests like form filling and repeat prescriptions.
