Autumn is upon us and if you’ve got any spraying or spreading that needs doing around the Bay of Plenty/Waikato, get in touch with Agri-Air Drone Spraying. They’re an approved applicator of Agrisea products and are doing a great job helping farmers apply our biologicals and nutrients quickly, accurately, and in places ground gear can’t reach. Keep it up Ross and Schirelle! (pun not intended)😅

From the rugby field to rural growth leadership

We’re proud to welcome Craig Hudson as Chief Growth Officer at AgriSea NZ Seaweed Ltd .

Craig’s journey has been anything but conventional. From professional rugby, including time with the New Zealand Sevens, to working alongside farmers across Aotearoa and leading in international business, his path has always been grounded in people and performance.

Spending time living and working on farms early in his career gave Craig a deep appreciation for how farmers think and operate.

“Farmers don’t have time for fluff. If something doesn’t stack up, they’ll tell you.”
That farmer-first mindset now shapes his leadership at AgriSea.

As Chief Growth Officer, Craig is focused on identifying new opportunities, exploring innovative applications for New Zealand farmers, and helping our Paeroa-based company take its research and intellectual property to global markets.

His rugby career may have been cut short by illness, but it marked the beginning of a new chapter back in the rural sector, one built on resilience, practicality and long-term thinking.

We’re excited to have him on the team and look forward to what’s ahead.

The maize harvest is just around the corner. While the focus right now is on the yield going into the stack, have you planned for what’s getting left behind on the paddock?
