Plunket is hosting an event of Tuesday 24 June at our Paeroa Plunket clinic.
Families can catch up on childhood immunisations and ask questions about their tamariki/pēpi immunisation schedule.

Flu Vaccination Season Starts 1st of April, but did you know there is a choice of flu vaccine?
The SUBSIDISED vaccine is Influvac Tetra, however there are two other vaccines available;
1. Fluad Quad for those over 65 years
2. Flucelvax Quad

With there being a large spread of Strep Throat going around our community at the moment, don't forget that we can help!

We offer FREE Strep Throat testing for children between the ages of 4 to 19 years old! The results take between 24-48 hours to return to us and we then offer a free course of Antibiotics for anyone that tests positive. If your child tests positive, we are then able to test any other family members between the ages of 3 to 35 years old.

We also offer the service of having a Rapid Strep Throat test for people ages 12 to 65 years of age. The test takes 5 - 10 minutes to give a result and the pharmacist can prescribe antibiotics immediately if you test positive. This is at a cost of $40 and is a full consultation with one of our team members!

Don't forget that we also have a wide range of products that can help with sore throats! Even if you test negative, one of our friendly team members can help with some over the counter products to give you some relief.
