As the year gently settles into its rhythm, we find ourselves reflecting on the year that has passed.

To the families who entrusted us with the care of someone deeply loved - thank you. It has been a privilege to walk beside you during moments of farewell, remembrance, and quiet reflection. Each life we were honoured to care for mattered, and each story remains with us.

To our wider community, thank you for your trust, kindness, and support throughout the past year. We do not take lightly the responsibility of caring for those who have passed, or the families who grieve them.

As we continue into the year ahead, we do so with gratitude, humility, and a deep commitment to providing thoughtful, personal care whenever it is needed.

Of Konini, on Monday, 5 January 2026, suddenly, aged 81. Dearly loved husband and soul mate of Ellen (Carroll), loved father and father-in-law of Bernadette and Glen Williams, Patricia and Justin Fryer and Anne-Maree Oliver. Treasured Grandad of Kahlia & Andrew, Ben & Tyla, Jamie & Leila, Eilish, Maia and Finn and Great-Grandad of Macey and Carter; Piper and Ardie. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Margaret & Tony Scott (both deceased), Joan & Gary Nation (deceased), Joe & Catherine Carroll, Phonse & Marie Carroll (deceased), Tom & Alayne Carroll and Jim & Maree Carroll. Loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews and a special father figure and friend to many. Wairarapa Bush R.F.U. cap #005. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Pahiatua Volunteer Fire Brigade would be appreciated.

A Requiem Mass will be held at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, Palmerston North, on Tuesday, 13 January 2026, at 11.00am, followed by interment at Mangatainoka Cemetery. Rosary to be held at Saint Brigid's, Pahiatua, on Monday, 12 January 2026, at 6.30pm. Messages can be sent to David's family, c/o PO Box 1014, Palmerston North.

We couldn’t be prouder of Mike for achieving his 10 year Long Service Certificate for over 10 years of dedicated service to the funeral industry. He is an outstanding person with a genuine heart for the families he supports, ensuring every detail is handled with care and respect. We’re grateful to have him as part of our team.

Coral Majorie Kidd
Aged 89, passed peacefully on Sunday 2 November 2025 surrounded by her family.
She asks that no one wears black to her funeral and celebrates her life in colour.
Funeral service to be held at St Peter’s Anglican Church, 18 Albert Street, Pahiatua on Saturday 8 November 2025 at 11am.
She will be resting at 1 Hughes Court from Tuesday-Friday with paint and brushes to decorate her coffin by friends and family.

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday 13 August 2025 at Palmerston North Hospital. Dearly loved husband of Pam. Loving father and father-in-law of Tracey and Nigel Beck, Scott and Michelle, Andrew and Katrina, and Jason and Shannan. Loved Pop of William, Morgan, Connor, Angus; Logan, Olivia; Tyler, Maddie; Ella, Brooklyn and Haiden.
