MAGEE, David Paul
Passed away peacefully, but unexpectedly at home in Feilding, aged 69 years, with his beloved dog Bubba at his side. Precious soulmate and dearly loved husband of Christine. Treasured father of Cindy and Clinton (deceased), much loved and respected father-in-law to Robin. Loved Grandad and surrogate father to Clinton’s boys Jacob and Reuben. Adored Grandad to Cindy and Robin’s daughters Maya, Saskia and Poppy. Cherished brother of Barbara and brother-in-law of Rex, Wayne, Pam; and uncle to Christopher, Belinda and Tabitha, great-uncle to their children. Best mate of Len and James. At David’s request a private service has been held.

Loving Dad to Bill, Jesse, and Cole (deceased). Special Grandad to Lyla-Rose. Loved son of Maureen and Andre (deceased). A much loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle to his wider family. Jan and family would like to say a heartfelt thank you, to all our extended family and friends for their love and support over the last 12 months of Chris’s illness. We have very much appreciated the visits, messages, flowers, meals and baking, and all the many kindness shown to us all. Our sincere thanks to the Arohanui Hospice, Pahiatua Medical Centre and St John’s Ambulance for their care and support of Chris during his final months.

Dearly loved Mum of Shea and Carla, Tui and Kate, Jeremy and Bek, and Dion (deceased). Treasured Nanny of Caelin, Manaia, Aaliyah, Bella, Orlando, Sonny, Kahu, Aroha, and Tama. Rea will be sadly missed by the wider Emery whanau, who loved her dearly. A service to celebrate Rea’s life will be held at the Tararua Club, Tararua Street, Pahiatua on Thursday 15th, January, 2026, at 10.30am. Followed by interment at Tahoraiti Urupa, Dannevirke.

Much loved Mum of Tom and Judith, Pauline and Derek, Denise (deceased), Nick and Andree, Karen and Rei, and Dave and Sally. Treasured Nana, old Nana, and GG to 17 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Grateful thanks to the staff of Ward 25 (Opal) PN Hospital and of Waireka for their support and care.
