''I am a passionate advocate for wāhine seeking to reclaim their health and well-being through becoming smoke-free. I have been spent about 5 years in the Auahi Kore space, and 11 years in Health and wellbeing organizations.
My journey began with my own experience as a smoker, where I recall the struggle of quitting. But discovering what truly motivated me to change, helped me turn to a life with healthier habits. This transformation evolved over time and has strengthened my resilience know feel within many facets of my life, I now feel compelled support others on their own journeys.
From a young age, I have been deeply connected to the how of health and well-being, studying herbology, nutrition, and aromatherapy. Over the years, I have further developed my practice as a kaimirimiri and rongoā practitioner, working with the healing power of touch and many natural medicines. These practices have helped broaden my understanding of Hauora and the importance of a holistic approach.
My work as a program facilitator reflects my strong passion for strengthening mindsets and encouraging whānau to overcome barriers to achieve their goals. It is a privilege, walking alongside wāhine, listening to their stories, and helping them navigate their unique pathways.
Currently, I am expanding my knowledge and skills through further study, with a focus on supporting mindsets and well-being. Whether through sharing insights into healthy habits, exploring the healing properties of our kai and natural medicines, and mindfulness, or simply being present for those in need, my goal is to inspire wāhine to see the limitless possibilities they can achieve for themselves and their whānau. Together, we can create lives that honour our hauora, protect our whakapapa, and our futures.''
