Often I think I must write that down, but don't quite get to it. This time the experience I had has stayed with me and has given me so much appreciation I thought I would write and share so others can see the type of relationship you too can have Spirit if you learn to read the signs and focus on your link :)
I have titled it 'With Love from Spirit on my Birthday' and I hope you can understand why...
When you work for the Spiritual Realm amazing things can happen. Recently I had a significant birthday, the end of one decade and the beginning of another. I hadn’t given it too much thought, but the night before the day arrived I remember thinking it would be my first birthday without one of my Aunties that I was fond of (she passed near the beginning of the year) and I had a few tears.
The next morning when I awoke I again thought of her and felt her presence, as well as another Aunty. From there began a long line of Spirit energies ‘coming in’ to remind me of their presence in my life and the connection they had had with me. So so many lovely energies, some that were old family friends, or a cousin that had passed, the energy of people I hadn’t had connections with for many many years and some more recent. Each one made themselves known to me, reminded me of how I was to them, some reminded me of how I used to be quiet and shy at times, or used to stay with them or visit.. It was a trip down memory lane in a way I never thought I would experience. It was like having a big line of loving people saying hi and giving me a hug, all within the lens of my mind.
Also the night before I had reflected that I hadn’t seen a sunrise for a long time and wished to do so. After my connection with Spirit my partner suggested having a morning Spa so I went to the bathroom to get a towel. From the window the most beautiful sunrise could be seen, vivid colours and with hues of pink, orange and red in the soft morning light. Oh how I basked in the colours and the beauty nature has to offer.
Then to the Spa, with the birds starting to wake and twittering to each other. I have a love of watching birds in nature, I remember a Medium predicting this years ago, and at that stage it wasn’t an interest of mine so I thought ‘not likely’. That has totally changed and she is very right, now bird watching is an enjoyable pastime of mine.
As we sat in the spa overhead not one but four hawks circled on the currents, floating and soaring giving such an amazing display. Gradually they went out of site behind some trees only to come past above us again with my Partner saying ‘look they are giving us a flyby’. Immediately a person that had flown in the Airforce Red Checkers and had passed came into my mind, with a hello and more memories of days gone by. Next one lone Hawke flew back over and this time I knew it was a sign from a precious friend I had during my time associated with the airforce, and connecting with him couldn’t have been more special on my birthday!
If all this doesn’t seem enough not twenty metres from where we sat watching the day break in full an owl stealthy flew across the sky in front of us, moving from one patch of bush to another. It was so wondrous, we could see the colours and details of its feathers as it was so close. It was like watching it fly in slow motion on a movie screen but way better.
After the spa I was in the kitchen preparing a drink when I looked out the window only to see a kingfisher sitting on the branch of a tree, its colours were so pretty in the morning light. What a birthday so far…
Later that morning as we drove down our driveway our car was swooped so closely by a kereru! It flew right over top of us and continued on its way…the kereru has often come to our family members when we think of my father that has passed and need a sign so it was very fitting.
But that’s not all, we then went to meet my daughter and granddaughters for some time at the park and one of my granddaughters handed me a dark feather with pretty hues, she had brought from her home for me. A nicer present I couldn’t have got and so in theme with the display I had experienced earlier. The Universe at work at its best and leaving me feeling so blessed.
