Movement IQ is now the provider of early injury intervention and physiotherapy services for the 200+ team at Higgins Palmerston North.

Our mission is simple:
1. Support workers at the first sign of aches, pains, or discomfort
2. Get it sorted
3. Keep the Higgins team healthy, safe, and doing what they do best - building New Zealand

This is what we do.

Movement IQ is now onsite at Horowhenua College
The Physio clinic runs every Wednesday for students and staff to keep them active, healthy and in the game.

The first dedicated physio clinic we opened was in Manly, Sydney. We started small and then grew to 3 clinics before selling up and heading back home.
Here we are, some 13 years later, about to do it again in Palmerston North, NZ.

The renovations are nearly complete, not long to go now!

After a hectic 6 months, I got a chance to step out of clinic and spend some time getting lost in the heart of Central Otago with some good friends. My cup is full again. Time to get back to work!

Our growth to date has been driven by a small, hands-on team doing a lot with a little. We’ve proven the model, now we’re ready to build the right team to help scale our impact and take things to the next level.

An early start this morning but well worth the journey.
Our first Auckland based onsite physio clinic (clinic number 9) is now up and running.

We set our sights on Christchurch now, with clinic number 10 scheduled to launch in August.

What a year it's been so far..
Time for some reflection and appreciation!

28 weeks in and here's what's been happening at Movement IQ:

- 45 corporate injury prevention workshops/trainings delivered to over 1000 people across 17 NZ cities
- Over 25,000km of NZ roads traveled down
- Multiple flights
- 3 nationwide contracts gained
- 8 onsite physio clinics running (and more importantly making a difference)
- 5 more onsite clinics in the pipeline.
- Palmerston North Physio clinic confirmed (opening August)

Here's what I'm proud of, Movement IQ currently consists of 2 people, myself and Renee Taipana

Thats it. No contractors. No employees. No back office admin team. Just the two of us and a crystal clear vision of what we want to achieve.

I don't know how, but somehow we've managed to get these numbers and deliver on our agreements, without affecting time with our 3 girls (and 2 dogs). Between us, we get them to school each morning, have dinner with them every night, spend every weekend together and go to every game and event they have.

I'm proud of what we've done, I'm proud of who we're raising and I cant wait to see what the next half of the year brings.

Dropped in to catch up with the talented team at GDM today (thanks again to BGH and Cheryl Hill for setting this one up)
Kicked off the afternoon with a full team training session- where we covered top tips on staying injury free in the work day, followed by a workstation check in upstairs and an on the job movement review on the floor.

Not bad for a rainy day in Whanganui.

Wheels up next week and we're off to Auckland.

All in a week's work! Workshops in New Plymouth, ergonomic assessments on the streets of Wellington, moving and handling training in Levin, pre-work activation exercise design in Longburn, MSK physio at Manukura School in Palmerston North. I wouldn't have it any other way!
