Sometimes work is a piece of cake for Dementia Advisor Liam Walsh! He had the hard task of judging the Bupa Riverstone Retirement Village bake off recently which raised $120 for us during World Alzheimer's Month aka September. And of course he had a bit of a chin wag as well!

We are looking for a casual worker (MKC assistant) to work across our 4 centers and a Centre Coordinator for the Feilding Marion Kennedy Centre.

MKC Clubs provide day respite programs in the region to support people affected dementia to live well.

The Alzheimers Society Manawatu Inc has an upcoming session this Monday, 6 October from 1:00–2:30pm at Te Āhuru Mōwai, 64 Stafford Street, Feilding.

These sessions are free, welcoming, and open to everyone. Whether you are living with dementia, supporting a loved one, or simply want to learn more, this is a chance to ask questions, and gain helpful information.
