Last weekend we enjoyed the New Zealand Dharma Celebration.
Gen Rabten gave Buddha Vajrasattva empowerment and teachings on karma and purification.
It was a very joyful, meaningful event and we left feeling motivated to put the teachings into practice.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this such a special occasion, but we are especially grateful to our Spiritual Guide, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for appearing in our life.

Other’s kindness touches us and opens our heart – it fills us with hope and faith in humanity – but so often it seems we live in a cruel and selfish world where everyone is just thinking about themselves.

Discover for yourself the uplifting experience of joy, contentment, and positive energy that comes from meditating on kindness.

By living with an awareness of the kindness of others, we can maintain a warm heart and a feeling of being close to everyone.
This special way of looking at the world brings joy and creates the foundation for stable, loving relationships.
Deliberately cultivating affection leads to a deep appreciation for everyone and everything.

Being kind makes us feel good and enables us to see kindness all around us, wherever we look we will see only kindness.

Why meditate? Most of us would like to experience a sense of calmness and peace. An inner happiness that stays with us, and helps us face problems and difficulties without getting caught up in negative thoughts and emotions. Meditation is a really useful method for achieving these goals.
