On Wednesday, our Palmerston North drop-in centre, LUCK, hosted an amazing Christmas party for some 70+ people. It was a wonderful display of community spirit as people connected over kai, sang waiata, and even enjoyed a visit from a very familiar looking Santa!

The aroha and manaakitanga were felt throughout the day, reminding us just how important LUCK is to our community.

A huge thank you to the people and businesses who made this possible. From generous donations of food and raffle prizes to those who volunteered their time, your support made all the difference. 💚💚💚

Disco fever was high last week at LUCK as we sang our hearts out at karaoke, danced to Abba, and enjoyed the party snacks.

We are extremely grateful to Pub Charity Limited for their support of our community drop-in centre, LUCK Venue through grant funding. This support goes towards staffing costs so that we can support people who come to LUCK with meals, washing, and shower facilities, and being a place of manaakitanga and connection to the community.

Today for Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori our LUCK whānau came together for waiata, karakia, and this aaaamazing kai of boil up, fry bread, and even pudding to finish off. How good!
