Swapping out your old halogen downlights with new LED ones has heaps of advantages:
1) Use less electricity – we replace old 35W or 50W downlights with 9W LEDs – 80% cheaper to run! 80% less carbon footprint
2) Reduce fire danger – we use LEDs that don’t run hot and can be safely covered by insulation. Halogen downlights produce a lot of heat, and if insulation has moved, there can be a risk of fire. There is no fire risk with LEDs
3) LEDs are also a sealed unit so air can’t flow from the room into the roof space, and vice versa, which helps keep the room insulated, meaning your heating and cooling costs are kept lower
4) Brighter more consistent light – LEDs throw light on wider angles filling the room with more consistent light throughout, making the room brighter and more functional.
5) Cleaner – there are no holes or gaps that bugs can find their way into, no gaps to let ceiling dust fall into your room.
6) LEDs don’t blow globes like halogens. We use LEDs with a 7 year warranty so if in the off chance one fails within 7 years, we’ll replace it for you under warranty no problem at all
7) The LED light we use have 3 options of colours, White, Natural White, or Cool White, so they can be changed to suit different applications

We install satellite dishes, both manual and auto searching, plus tv's and stereo systems, as well as adding or replacing 230 volt power points. We can change your 230 volt lights to 12 volt LED lights along side solar panels, to keep your lights going when off grid. We can also change your English spec caravan to comply with NZ electrical standards and arrange for it to get your electrical WOF. We repair any electrical faults.
