We are also qualified in pelvic floor health. Family Osteopaths is located in sunny Papamoa and consists of a fantastic team who work with all ages from infants to the elderly. Established in 2005 by Angela Procter and Anne Bengtsson, who have a passion for providing quality Osteopathic care. lity care requires. Our Osteopaths have a broad range of experience and areas of specialist interest. However, as Osteopaths we remain true to our principles and always treat the whole body and person, not just the complaint. Over 80% of our patients come to us through personal recommendation from friends, family and other healthcare practitioners. We are confident we can provide the best approach to your pain and injury and manage you to a complete recovery. We provide treatment for a wide range of injuries and healthcare problems including back pain,neck pain, headaches, sprained ankles, repetitive strain injuries, sciatica and tennis elbow to name a few. We have a special interest in the treatment of women during and after pregnancy, to help prepare the body for the birth journey, as well as helping with problems such as low back pain, sacro-illiac pain, symphysis pubis dysfunction (SPD), positioning of baby. We also specialize in the treatment of infants using cranial osteopathy for the strains and stresses of labour and help provide natural relief for things such as colic, reflux, breast feeding issues, flat head to name but a few. We are qualified in pelvic floor health, and assist people with incontinence, prolapse, pelvic pain and sexual dysfunction, pre and post prostate surgery and recovery after birth. We have a lot of success in the treatment of head injuries and concussion. Many of the symptoms associated with this can go on for years. Gentle cranial treatment helps resolve some of the tissue injuries and compensations, speeding recovery.
