Meet Jimmy, the founder of ReDefined.
What began as a deeply held dream became the foundation for creating a space built on purpose, community, genuine wellbeing and a commitment to long-term health.
Jimmy committed everything he had to bring that vision to life, and five years later it stands as a thriving hub supported by an incredible team and the most amazing tribe of members.
And in 2026, that vision arrives on Auckland’s North Shore.
Our founding franchise is set to open at 26–30 Northcroft Street in Takapuna in mid 2026, led by local owner Rob McCaw, who shares our passion for building a community-centred wellbeing space.

Neutral spine? Flat back? Arched or rounded?
If you’ve ever wondered what we actually mean when we cue these in classes, here’s your quick cheat sheet:
✔️ Arched back – chest proud, ribs in, extension through spine, great for building back strength and opening the front body.
✔️ Neutral spine – your natural curves are doing their thing. Strong, supported and balanced.
✔️ Flat back – ribs pulled in, tailbone tucked, one long line through spine. Think stable and stacked.
✔️ Rounded back – tailbone tucked fully, ribs drawing in, flexion through spine, perfect for switching on your core and improving spinal mobility.

Co Founders Jimmy and August and Ben Jackson are industry leading health and fitness professionals, and are thoughts leaders in innovation and getting our members RESULTS! The core of our offering is our unique “3 studios/1 membership model”
1. PERFORMANCE STUDIO - Hosts the latest, and most innovative fitness training techniques- including HIIT, HIRT, MetCon, cross training, combat training, and athletic conditioning. With a new class being run daily, this studio will test the limits of human performance, through an emphasis on functional movement patterns
2. MINDBODY STUDIO - A dedicated hot yoga studio, with world renowned classes. Our teachers will be aim to take the members on multiple spiritual, wellbeing and movement journeys. Yin Yoga, Vinyayas Flow Yoga, Yoga Nidra as well as Hot Mat Pilates
3. MOVEMENT STUDIO A focus on classical reformer Pilates, along with modern Reformer Pilates. This is a space for the members to learn, practice and refine movement based disciplines such as Barre Pilates, bodyweight calisthenics, pre/post natal Pilates and antigravity yoga.
