PEDIATRIC CARE Acupuncture is available for babies and children. Some of the common infant & childhood disorders I am regularly treating in clinic: Reflux, Colic, Constipation and loose bowels, bed-wetting, night terrors... thru to more complex diseases and disorders. If you have a child needing treatment and have questions get in toouch, I am happy to answer all questions. Treatment for infants and children is very gentle and often with no acupuncture needles.

Very excited to have started studying for the International Certificate in Paediatric Acupuncture.

Here are some things you may not know about paediatric acupuncture

Your child's treatment does not need to involve needles. There are many other modalities a paediatric acupuncturist can use to deliver the treatment your child needs.

There is a growing body of evidenced-based clinical research supporting the use of acupuncture for a wide range of childhood conditions.

More and more conventional medical healthcare professionals recognise the important role acupuncture can play in the treatment of many childhood conditions.

If you are looking for support with your child's development or health challenges then paediatric acupuncture treatment may be very useful.

It may help to reduce your child's reliance on medication, for example steroid medications used in the management of asthma and eczema or antibiotics in the case of recurrent infections

It van be helpful with a wide range of childhood physical conditions, some of which conventional medicine is often unable to help e.g chronic fatigue syndrome, bed-wetting, food allergies.

This is a fantastic study showing you've gotta get dancing if you're having a baby!

Dancing during labour could reduce pain, shorten the duration of labour, promote natural childbirth and improve satisfaction of labour.

As Pink says - never gonna not dance again!
