Minerals and vitamins fuel our cells, give us energy and help with our brain function. Yet 60 percent of the foods sold in supermarkets are ultra-processed and lack the micronutrients we need for good brain health. UC Professor of Clinical Psychology, Julia Rucklidge, wants to change that.

I love New Zealand First Light Flower Essences for working on emotional aspects of myself.

I love New Zealand First Light Flower Essences for working on emotional aspects of myself.

New Zealand has long been recognised for its unique flora and pristine energy. New Zealand’s native flora is some of the most ancient on the planet and it has some of the oldest forests on Earth.

My journey of working with New Zealand native plants has been a magical one of loving intelligent cooperation with the plant kingdom, the ancient earth guardians of the land and the spiritual forces of Aotearoa, New Zealand – the land of the ever shining light.

The story began when I was a child.

A New Zealander of Russian and Native American descent, I had the ‘old ways’ in my blood long before I was born.

As a child I lived next door to a Maori family and was recognised as having special abilities by the elders. It was then that I started to learn about Rongoa Maori or natural Maori plant medicine. Even then, I knew I had a calling to work in a healing capacity with New Zealand’s native plants and flowers.

From a very young age I was aware of the uniqueness of New Zealand’s devic kingdom and could communicate with devas, nature spirits, plant intelligence and the Patupaiarehe: the mysterious fairy people of Aotearoa.

My introduction to the world of flower essences occurred two days prior to my seventh birthday when I had a life-changing experience with a plant and the devic kingdom. During that day energetic linkages and connections were formed with the devic world and the plant kingdom that have stayed with me for the rest of my life.

From that point on I knew I had a calling to work in a holistic healing capacity with New Zealand native plants and flowers. Dreams and visions that came in the subsequent years continued to provide detailed insights into my future life and the role flower essences made with New Zealand native plants would play in it.

After a dramatic and pivotal shamanic experience in my mid-teens, I made a conscious and irrevocable decision to dedicate my life and my healing gifts to serve others as a healer.

In 1975 I also began working with the Bach flower remedies.

Dr Bach’s 38 flower remedies were made in 1930s with plants and flowers from the English countryside. These flower remedies were made to address specific negative emotional and mental attitudes that Dr Bach understood were the underlying cause of all dis-ease.

In my work with New Zealand native plants, it soon became evident to me that certain New Zealand native flowers had a similar individual healing vibration, healing energetic resonance or vibrational signature to some of the individual English plants.

I was equally aware that the New Zealand native plants had a stronger, more powerful holistic healing vibration and were much more multi-faceted in their holistic healing capacity.

Over time I was made increasingly aware, through direct personal experience, of the enormous spiritual and holistic healing power associated with New Zealand native plants. I was instructed by the earth guardians and the atua, gods and goddesses of Aoteateoa to create a flower essence range from New Zealand native flowers, ferns, trees, seeds and plants. This flower essence range was to become a universal holistic system that supports natural wellbeing.

In 1999 my husband Anthony Wyber and I co-founded First Light Flower Essences of New Zealand® that became a center for research and studies in the field of flower essences and sacred plant medicine.

Each of the 184 flower essences holds a specific vibration that helps to bring the whole person into a perfected state of being and help restore the earth we live on.

In 2009 my first book The Sacred Plant Medicine of Aotearoa Volume One was published. This seminal work and groundbreaking book was the result of a lifetime of work and research into the power of nature and the quantum world of vibrational medicine.

10 years later, in 2019 the Completely Revised and Expanded Second Edition of The Sacred Plant Medicine of Aotearoa Volume One was published providing the revised and expanded complete reference guide to selecting and working with the 84 First Light® flower, fern, tree, seed and plant essences No’s 1-84 for restoring and maintaining natural wellbeing.

The book provides a comprehensive insight into how to address the underlying energetic cause of dis-ease and disharmony by addressing the whole person, including personality, aura, chakras, DNA and soul. It reveals the lifelong comprehensive roadmap for achieving success, wellbeing and personal growth. It shows you how to work with the power of nature and the quantum world of vibrational medicine to change your life and empower others.

In this book you will learn about the remarkable world of plant devas and you will discover how and why the nature power of Aotearoa, New Zealand has stepped forward to assist humanity and the world community in the Aquarian Age.

Forever and forever and forever may this collective wisdom and light shine as we stand together as one with nature and move forward together with our plant relations, in fact with all our relations, into a cooperative and co-creative future of infinite healing possibilities.

Do you really need to be on statins? They often cause side-effects of muscle pain and require supplementation of Co-Q-10. High cholesterol is not associated with death from heart attack - in fact the opposite is true - those with extremely low levels of cholesterol have higher risk.

Cholesterol does not cause heart disease in the elderly and trying to reduce it with drugs like statins is a waste of time, an international group of experts has claimed.
