Arcadia Therapeutic Massage

Arcadia Therapeutic Massage I am a Young Living independent distributor. I also incorporate ten of Young Living's amazing oils to give a massage experience of a lifetime.

Enjoy a Raindrop Technique or a Hot Stone Massage. Both are an hour of sheer bliss. Raindrop Technique is an exciting new modality to enter New Zealand. Its origins come from Ancient Tibetan, Ancient Egyptian and American Indian bodywork techniques, combined with the power of therapeutic grade essential oils and massage. Raindrop Technique uses Vitaflex, the Ancient Tibetan version of foot reflexo

logy. This is performed along the spinal reflex of the feet, in combination with various essential oils. This exotic combination makes for a sensational experience which promotes profound relaxation and balance. $100

For a Hot Stone Massage we start by scanning you with an iTOVi to find out what essential oil would best resonate with your system at the time of your appointment. This allows for a specifically individualized experience. Back and arms 30 minutes: $60
Back, arms and legs 60 minutes: $120

If you would like the best of both worlds try a Hot Raindrop. This starts with the traditional Raindrop Technique followed by an upper body Hot Stone experience. This experience lasts for 90 minutes. $160

My new blankets arrived today. I would have preferred grey, but I have enough of my mother in me that I couldn't pass them up. I was able to get them for $33.70 each.

"When you first walked in I thought you were the person who gave Harry Potter his lessons on how to fly a broom!"

This was the statement made to me when I went into the lighting store to get lightbulbs for my lamp for Arcadia. Not having seen the movie, I had no clue what she was talking about. Obviously it's the hair! 🤣

🤣"Oh, your hands are actually quite small! They felt really big!" This comment came from a recent client. I don't know if I should take it as an insult or a compliment.🤣✋️

And so ends my week. Now off to LIQUID to do Arcadia's laundry.

I was asked recently why the name Arcadia. Honestly, when this practice was born I thought long and hard about its name. I wanted something unique, but I also wanted something that represented what I was endeavoring to establish, something that reflected the beauty and magic of the Raindrop Technique. It thrills me when clients enter the room and comment on the peace they feel just from crossing the threshold.

🤣"If I was a dog my hind leg would be going crazy right now!"🤣

That was a comment from a recent client during the feathering and fanning aspect of the Raindrop Technique. I really should have a notebook to capture the different comments I hear.

Have you had a hot stone massage when you shouldn't have? There is a reason I have clients fill out a comprehensive health history form before treatment.

But why on earth does THAT have to be the opening "picture"?!? 🤣🤣🤣

So true.

As a practitioner you tend to develop a connection with your clients and often think of them throughout the week. It seems to be reciprocal. My client today gifted me this lovely coffee mug set! 💕☕️💕
