Hi Everyone.
Thank you for all your enquiries as to how things are in Collingwood for us.
Things have been extremely wet of course throughout the district with much flooding and damage across the Tasman District.
Friday night we were without power for several hours as the rain continued to pour.
We had about 130mm in that 24 hour period alone and it followed on from the previous big deluge we experienced 2 weeks prior. 🌧 🌦 🌂 ⛈️ ☔️
Luckily, I'm on a hill so no problems at home. I feel for all those badly affected however, as there is alot of flood damage!
I did manage to build the boys a day kennel and run area between the showers and rain the past weeks tho so it was still a productive time at home! 🏡 🐕🐕

Saturday afternoon we finally got out to the beach to stretch our legs for the first time in a week. The boys certainly loved it !

I am back in Kapiti today for the next 2 weeks working in Paraparaumu and Levin, as well as assisting on the Equine Practitioner Course at Dragon Equestrian next weekend.
All my days are fully booked, however I can put you on a cancelation list if you wish to see me and don't have a booking already?

I had a nice flight over this morning, despite the changeable weather on the way.

CANINE SKILLS WORKSHOPS 2025!!!

Now is your chance to adapt your ConTact C.A.R.E skills to our Canine friends !
Learn how to understand and interpret the subtle differences of Dogs ,how their injuries communicate with us , and how to work safely and effectively with them.
These days are an add-on to the Human & Equine Foundation Courses and are to be held at Dragon Equestrian Jump Park, the venue for my horse courses on the Fridays prior to my next Equine Foundation Courses in September and November.
We will start at 10 am and finish at approximately 3 pm .
You may attend with or without a dog, but please specify which at the time of booking.
They are hosted by myself, and the cost is $150 for the day.
I have a special September discount offer for those students who would like to attend all 3 of my courses held in September;

I'm excited to announce an addition to my Human Foundation Course schedule by confirming my first course in AUSTRALIA for 5 years at Wollongong NSW Australia.
This course will be held at 9-11 Old Springhill Road, Coniston NSW 2500 on October 4-5th 2025.

I recently completed the second part of my first trip back to the North Island, culminating in another fantastic Human Foundation Course at Robin and Sues place just north of Levin.
We thank them for allowing us to take over their beautiful home, and it provided the perfect setting for great learning of the Foundation of ConTact C.A.R.E.
It also included me working from my Paraparaumu clinic, Levin , Dannevirke, and Central Hawkes Bay.
Thank you to everyone who came to see me, Horse, Human & Canine, as well as all the students at both my Equine & Human courses.
Next up in July will be our first ever Equine Practitioner Course in Kapiti during my mid-July trip, hosted by head of CC Equine Camille Nelson & assisted my both myself and Jacqui Snodgrass.
I am almost full with regard my clinic appointments, but if you don't already have an appointment booked and wish to , contact me ASAP and I will see what I can do for you.

Also thank you again to Golden Bay Air for getting me over and home safely again
Those flights are amazing and scenery outstanding, and the service is first class and very convenient for me, being able to fly directly from Takaka to Wellington and back.
A great reminder for me how beautiful an environment I now live in here in the amazing Golden Bay flying from above.
Great to be home now and see everyone and get back to the daily beach walks !! 💓🐕🐕🐕

Interesting and challenging weather to be working in but we all loved the results!! Especially the horses 🐎🐎🐎🐎❤️🙏 The power and influence of ConTact C.A.R.E and how we work with the horses comfort at all times means they can completely ignore the conditions for the greater good of themselves. 🐎🐎🐎 🌧 🌬❄️🌫🌦🌪🌫

After a hectic week in Kapiti last week, I flew home on Friday, at sunset, for the long weekend.
After an exciting landing in very gusty winds , I was able to enjoy another magic weekend of weather and relaxation and spend time with the fam
on the beach in the beautiful Golden Bay sunshine and experience some amazing winter sunsets.
I returned this morning ( thankfully a much smoother flight) and will be working in Dannevirke and Central Hawkes Bay before returning to Kapiti, leading up to my Human course on 14-15th June in Levin
I am currently fully booked , however, feel free to try your luck in case I get any cancelations over the next 2 weeks.

Another great weekend of understanding and learning the true language of the horse from bone deep this past weekend on my Equine ConTactC.A.R.E Foundation Course.
It's always amazing to see and share the experience of the moments that suddenly make more sense of everything you have already experienced with your horses and how simple it can be to address those unresolved issues to provide ease and comfort to all our beautiful horses 🐎.

Special thanks go as always to Pam and Clive at Dragon Equestrian Jump Park for being such amazing hosts and also providing their horses for the students who don't have their own horses to learn from, as well as Student Practitioner Savannah Schreuder from Hawkes Bay who so was so able to assist me, and provide insite and enthusiasm for what we were all learning.
And mostly for the wonderful Equines who showed us all the way !!

My next Equine Foundation Course will be held in September.
My next Human Foundation Course is on June 14th - 15th in Levin. There are a few spaces still left for that one, but be quick !!

Yesterday I took my first trip with Golden Bay Air from Takaka to Wellington to attend my Equine Foundation Course at Dragon Equestrian Jump Park.
What a beautiful day, an amazing flight, highly recommend it !!
