Hi All.
I will be arriving in Kapiti the end of this week for my Human Foundation course over the weekend to be held in Levin.
I have had a couple of late cancelations for this course so if this is something you have or are considering we can take your booking now as we have room !!

I am also finalizing clinic appointments over the following 2 weeks and have had a few appointments become available.

SEPTEMBER is COMING !! 🌞🌞🌞

SEPTEMBER is almost upon us and that signals the beginning of Spring, Daylight Savings, and 3 exciting ConTact C.A.R.E courses coming up !!

First up is the fast approaching HUMAN FOUNDATION COURSE, the last course I will be running in LEVIN for the foreseeable future.
(My new venue for future courses from November is at the Art & Living Space in Pauatahanui)
There are still a few spaces left for the LEVIN course to be held from 9am to 4 30pm SATURDAY 6th & SUNDAY 7th of September.
This course is both suitable for absolute beginners with no knowledge required as well as those students looking to continue with their learning.
The cost for this course is $400 for the weekend.

There is truely no time like the present to begin to learn how to make a positive difference to the lives of those around you than now !!

Next up will be the CANINE WORKSHOP on FRIDAY 19th of September.
This course is designed to help you interpret and adapt your ConTact C.A.R.E Foundation to be applied specifically to our CANINE friends in a safe and effective way.
It will be hosted by myself along with fellow ConTact C.A.R.E Canine Practitioner Jacqui Snodgrass, and be held for the first time at Dragon Equestrian Jump Park 237 North Manakau Road Levin from 10am to 3pm.
You may attend with or without a dog.
You must have completed at least one ConTact C.A.R.E Foundation Course to be able to attend . ( Note the human Foundation on 6-7th September is available)
Cost for this course is $150.00

And finally following on from the CANINE course on the Friday is the EQUINE FOUNDATION COURSE on Saturday 20th & Sunday 21st September also at Dragon Equestrian Jump Park Manakau Levin.
This will also be hosted not only by myself , but again we will have the amazing Jacqui Snodgrass assisting us all the way from Tauranga.
Here you have the rare opportunity to learn ConTact C.A.R.E from the source of where it all began.
The Horse. 🐎🐴
Whether you are experienced with horses or not , or even own a horse , this course is suitable for all wishing to learn the beautiful art of interaction between horse and human, and how we can work so positively and safetly with them to truely feel how this can be felt by anyone willing to listen.
You will be guided through the way to work safely and effectively with these beautiful gentle animals in a way that anyone can understand.
Cost for this course is $400 for the weekend and the course runs both days from 9am - 4 30pm.
You may bring your own horse to learn on, or we can provide on for you if you dont have one.
A small venue daily fee on top of the course fee, is required for horses attending this course.
There are yards, stables or small paddocks available for your horse to use both during the day and overnight if you wish to stay
Accomodation is available onsite for both horse & rider for out of ownership or those wishing to make a weekend out of it !

Raro times and more Canines !! 🐕🥰💓

AUGUST UPDATE !!! :
My recent trip to Kapiti for the July tour was very successful and included our very first Equine Practitioner course in the Kapiti area hosted by head of CC Equine Camille Nelson.
I also had a busy two weeks with my clinic work in Paraparaumu and Levin.
I managed to get to see a few horses in Central Hawkes Bay before having to unfortunately cancel the rest of the weeks appointments in Dannevirke and Levin, as I was feeling unwell. 🤧
It's only the third time in 10 years I have had to do that!
It was very nice to get home though, after another amazing flight with Golden Bay Air ✈️

I felt very fortunate to call this place home now 💛

I am currently on a little escape from NZ winter, with a return to Rarotonga 🌞🌞🌞where I haven't visited for 12 years.
It's as beautiful as I remembered and true to form, while sitting down for dinner, along came a very lame and uncomfortable 3 legged dog limping through the restaurant , who sat down beside me and looked at me.
So of course I got down, got my hands on ( pictured), and I almost put him to sleep ! He left a much happier fellow, as he came and sat beside me on the beach for a time, then had a great roll in the sand and off he went!

Hi Everyone.
Thank you for all your enquiries as to how things are in Collingwood for us.
Things have been extremely wet of course throughout the district with much flooding and damage across the Tasman District.
Friday night we were without power for several hours as the rain continued to pour.
We had about 130mm in that 24 hour period alone and it followed on from the previous big deluge we experienced 2 weeks prior. 🌧 🌦 🌂 ⛈️ ☔️
Luckily, I'm on a hill so no problems at home. I feel for all those badly affected however, as there is alot of flood damage!
I did manage to build the boys a day kennel and run area between the showers and rain the past weeks tho so it was still a productive time at home! 🏡 🐕🐕

Saturday afternoon we finally got out to the beach to stretch our legs for the first time in a week. The boys certainly loved it !

I am back in Kapiti today for the next 2 weeks working in Paraparaumu and Levin, as well as assisting on the Equine Practitioner Course at Dragon Equestrian next weekend.
All my days are fully booked, however I can put you on a cancelation list if you wish to see me and don't have a booking already?
Get in quick as it's first in first served!

I had a nice flight over this morning, despite the changeable weather on the way.

Learn how to understand and interpret the subtle differences of Dogs ,how their injuries communicate with us , and how to work safely and effectively with them.
These days are an add-on to the Human & Equine Foundation Courses and are to be held at Dragon Equestrian Jump Park, the venue for my horse courses on the Fridays prior to my next Equine Foundation Courses in September and November.
We will start at 10 am and finish at approximately 3 pm .
You may attend with or without a dog, but please specify which at the time of booking.
They are hosted by myself, and the cost is $150 for the day.

I recently completed the second part of my first trip back to the North Island, culminating in another fantastic Human Foundation Course at Robin and Sues place just north of Levin.
We thank them for allowing us to take over their beautiful home, and it provided the perfect setting for great learning of the Foundation of ConTact C.A.R.E.
It also included me working from my Paraparaumu clinic, Levin , Dannevirke, and Central Hawkes Bay.
Thank you to everyone who came to see me, Horse, Human & Canine, as well as all the students at both my Equine & Human courses.
Next up in July will be our first ever Equine Practitioner Course in Kapiti during my mid-July trip, hosted by head of CC Equine Camille Nelson & assisted my both myself and Jacqui Snodgrass.
I am almost full with regard my clinic appointments, but if you don't already have an appointment booked and wish to , contact me ASAP and I will see what I can do for you.

Also thank you again to Golden Bay Air for getting me over and home safely again
Those flights are amazing and scenery outstanding, and the service is first class and very convenient for me, being able to fly directly from Takaka to Wellington and back.
A great reminder for me how beautiful an environment I now live in here in the amazing Golden Bay flying from above.
Great to be home now and see everyone and get back to the daily beach walks !! 💓🐕🐕🐕

Interesting and challenging weather to be working in but we all loved the results!! Especially the horses 🐎🐎🐎🐎❤️🙏 The power and influence of ConTact C.A.R.E and how we work with the horses comfort at all times means they can completely ignore the conditions for the greater good of themselves. 🐎🐎🐎 🌧 🌬❄️🌫🌦🌪🌫
