Term 3 starts tomorrow.
9.15am - 10.15am in the Chapel at the Pirongia Community Centre.
We have 10 weeks this term.
It's cold and bleak outside and so easy to convince ourselves to stay at home. So, a couple of reminders why it's great to continue to practice yoga during the winter months.
Not only does it keep our bodies active and our minds calm, but many yoga poses also enhance the functioning of the immune system, helping to fight winter colds and flu. Winter can also bring feelings of sadness or lethargy, our yoga practice helps release endorphins, those feel-good feelings, to help improve our mood and mental clarity.
