Sarah is an experienced Nurse Practitioner with a dedicated team led by Practice Manager Kerri Sharp. The Pleasant Point Health Centre, located in the heart of Pleasant Point Village in South Canterbury, is an integrated Health Centre with a focus on family and community well-being. Pioneering in New Zealand as it has been the first practice to have all patients registered with a nurse, showcasing the centre's forward-thinking approach to meeting the community's healthcare needs. Point-Health has Nurse practitioners (NP) Registered Nurses (RN) a Healthcare Assistant, a Health Coach, a Health improvement practitioner and a Phlebotomist. This collection of Healthcare options is why Point Health prides itself on a community-focused approach to Medicine. Please call our Reception on 03 614 7002 to book an appointment with our knowledgeable staff at the front desk, who can help you make an appointment with whoever is best suited to your needs. Kerri Sharp, the Practice Manager, is also available to guide new clients, just call reception to arrange this.

'New type' of health scam targeting those with DIABETES.

Artificial Intelligence can now 'impersonate' almost anyone on live video, including medical experts and NZ media.

There are fake videos, interviews and advertisements online, right now.
Ads asking you to 'try their method' or 'stop your medication'
or an 'expert' saying that a product is 'safe.'
These are not authentic.

PLEASE DONT STOP your regular diabetes medication, talk to us first. Always check in with the team before buying a health product online.
These AI generated videos are been called 'DEEPFAKES' please be aware.
