June is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month.
And the truth is — many men are still struggling in silence.
Statistically, men are far less likely to seek external support for mental health.
The reasons? Often deep-rooted in stigma, cultural conditioning, outdated ideas around masculinity or something else ..
And yet — men have significantly higher su***de rates compared to women.
As a Life Coach, this is something I witness firsthand in the Coaching room. Around 95% of my clients are women — but the 5% of men I’ve worked with? They’re leading by example.
- They’re choosing courage over silence.
- They’re doing the inner work, breaking generational cycles, and redefining what it means to “be a man.”
- They’re proof that asking for help isn’t weakness — it’s strength & wisdom
To all the men who take even one step toward exploring support — I see you. That first step is huge.
Especially in a world full of quick fixes & distractions to numb the pain, choosing to do the real, raw, deep work is bold.
You don’t have to numb it. You don’t have to carry it all alone.
You can create a balanced, peaceful inner world — one that doesn’t depend on the patterns of the past or societal definitions.
Support is out there — maybe I’m not your person, and that’s okay. But someone is. Keep exploring.
I’ll be sharing a few words from the men I’ve coached who have truly inspired me — because their stories matter, & they deserve to be heard too. 💙
