SOMM DETOX DAY MINI RETREAT
Saturday 4th May, 9:30am - 5:30pm
May is detox month at SOMM. This means getting conscious about what we consume (media, food, caffeine, other people's energy) and learning not just to let go, but also get intentional about what we put into our body-mind and also "digest" what we no longer need. This day will have a balance of theory and education, with accessible practices suitable for all levels including fascia and muscle tension release, Yin yoga, functional breathwork, an intro to Qi Gong forms to support digestion, Yoga philosophy, meditation and sound work.

I will be facilitating at 11:45 - 12-45 'The Vagus Nerve and Digestion'. Here, I will take you through the science of the link between our nervous system and our digestion. Most importantly, how we can harness this link to improve our gut health but regulating our nervous system through breathing.
